"What do you think space Jesus would like?" Mischa asked Noel as they traveled the isles of Target.

"Something cat-themed, I presume," Noel stated.

The boyfriends wandered down the toy aisle, figuring they would find at least one cat-themed item down there.

"Ooo, what about this?" Noel asked, holding up a tiny purple cat squishmallow. Mischa grinned and nodded. Noel dropped the plush into the cart.

"Wait, поет," Mischa said, stopping in his tracks. Noel stopped as well, looking over at his slightly taller boyfriend.

"Have you seen the cat...uh...squeeze keys?" Mischa asked, making a squeezing motion with his hands.

"accordion?" Noel asked. Mischa made a so-so motion with his hand.

"Kind of...is like...flat? And you press the keys, and it makes noise. And is cat themed." He muttered, struggling to find the words to describe the image in his head. After a few seconds of thinking, Noel's mouth formed into an 'o' as he finally understood what Mischa was talking about.

"Those cat keyboards?" Noel asked, making Mischa snap his fingers and vigorously nod.

"Yes! Keyboard!" Mischa exclaimed, grabbing the attention of the other people in the aisle. Noel jumped at his loud words and gently slapped his arm, signaling for him to be quiet. Mischa just shrugged and speed-walked to the next aisle. Noel trailed behind him.

As Noel turned the corner, he heard meows coming from inside the aisle. There, he saw Mischa holding one of the cat keyboards with a triumphant smile. He was tapping on random keys, his grin growing wider with each meow.

"I see you found one," Noel said, pushing the cart to Mischa. Mischa turned to Noel and grinned, placing the keyboard into the cart.

"I want one myself," Mischa said, to which Noel shook his head.

"You're never gonna stop playing with it if you get one," Noel said. Mischa nodded.

"That is the plan."

Noel fondly shook his head and grinned.

"Maybe another day," he said, walking out of the aisle. He saw Mischa pout but quickly recomposed himself and hurried after Noel.

"I did us the favor of getting two cards, bags, and tissue paper a few days ago," Noel said, pushing the cart toward the self-checkout. "It always gets hectic in here this time of year."

He wasn't wrong. With it being only five days into June, parents are running around finding items to entertain their kids during the three-month break from school.

"You are a lifesaver, поет," Mischa said, making Noel blush.

"Whatever," he muttered as they walked up to the self-checkout. Noel paid for the squishmallow, while Mischa payed for the keyboard.

The couple arrived at Noel's house about 20 minutes later. They both said a quick hello to Ms. Gruber and then rushed to Noel's room.

Mischa faceplanted onto Noel's bed, groaning at the soft mattress. He wished his own bed was as comfortable as Noel's.

Noel closed his bedroom door and threw the bags down onto the bed. He then went to his closet and threw open the doors. He went down onto his knees and rifled through the bottom drawer.

"Ok," he said, taking out two cards, two bags, and a tissue paper container. "Which bag and card do you want?" He asked, holding up two bags.

Mischa lifted his head and pointed to the bag in Noel's left hand. The bag was a galaxy with a decal of a cat's face in the middle. Noel hummed and placed the bag to the side.
