"Tanjiro, are you going to town again?"
"Yes, ma! I have some coal to sell!"
"Don't be too long, okay, honey!"
"Tanjiro-San! Can I come!"
Tanjiro looked at me, smiling.
"Sure, Izuku, just don't tell the others!"
"Yayyyyy!"
I ran to the house. It wasn't often I got to go to town with Tanjiro as I was only thirteen and had to help mum a lot around the house. She didn't trust my siblings alone, except Tanjiro and Nezuko, so I looked after them a lot. Rather annoying, but I love them.
"Nezuko!! Can you make sure that Takeo, Hanako, and Shigeru do their chores! I need to go do something!"
"Of course Izuku! Have fun and be safe!"
I took down my kimono [white with a green streak] off the hook and pulled it on.

"Izu-San, where are you going?"
'Uh oh..'
I turned around and saw Takeo standing in the doorway. Tanjiro was behind him in the garden. His eyes were wide, and he was shaking his head very slowly.
"I am.. going to see Mr. And Mrs. Bakugo! They are only just down the mountain, and I was going to go and see whether they needed any help."
"Oh."
I smiled and patted him on the head. He scowled and covered his head. Laughing, I brushed down my kimono. Takeo stepped aside and let me pass.
"Bye Takeo, love you! Tell the others I will be back soon!"
I waved back at him as I walked down the garden.

"You didn't tell him did you."
"Of course not! Why would I!"
"Good. What did you tell him?"
"That I was going to the Bakugo's to help them."
Tanjiro nodded and shouldered his basket of coal.
"You can walk me down the mountain right, Izuku?"
He spoke loudly, and I caught on.
"Yeah, I'll walk you halfway! Come on! I need to get to the Bakugo's!"

"Bye, you two! Be careful going down the mountain. It looks like it will storm soon.."
"Will do Nezuko-Chan! See you soon!"
Nezuko waved us off from the door of the house, holding onto Taeko. I waved back, and we started walking down the mountain. We talked loudly about things that weren't able to be spoken about in the house because of the kids seemingly appearing everywhere you went. As in, you couldn't even sit down for two minutes before one of them came up and ordered you to play with them. Very rarely, it was quiet, but even then, they were around, waiting behind a cupboard or under a table waiting to grab your ankles or scare the living sh[]t out of you. Me, Tanjiro, and Nezuko had learnt the hard way that they will do and say the same things as us. Tanjiro and I got into an argument a few months ago, and i flipped him off. Neither of us had realised that Hanako was there, and later that night, when Ma told her to go to bed, she flipped her off.. We were forced to sleep in the shed that night. Nezuko meanwhile had swore when she dropped a glass dish, all of the kids copied her and she was miserable as all there was for the next week was echoes of sh[]t around the house and garden. However, as she was Ma's favourite daughter, she wasn't punished.

About half way down the mountain, it started to snow. It was light at first but got a lot heavier very quickly.
"F[]ck its cold. How do you manage this almost every day?!"
"It's as i am the oldest, the bravest, and the smartest."
"Says the one who called his younger siblings to come kill a spider for him and the one who can't read as well as me."
Tanjiro blushed, fury and embarrassment kicking in.
"That spider incident was only once, and since when could you even read?"
"Uh.. since i began reading?"
Tanjiro laughed, shifting the basket on his shoulders.
"It's cold out. Most people will be glad for this coal. They must be nearly out by the smell on the air."
"How come you have such a great sense of smell. Why can't i?"
"Jeez Izu. You are the most agile kid in the area! Even them circus people aren't as flexible or fast as you!"
"True.. okay, you have a point."
"I know."
Tanjiro smiled, his mouth stretching wide. I smiled as well, glad that we were getting along so well.

"Hey Tanjiro! Hey Izuku!"
"Hiya kids! Go tell your parents to come here if they need some coal, okay? We have got loads of it today."
"Okay, Tanjiro-san!"
We had made it to the bottom of the mountain and had been met by a group of kids who had obviously seen us coming from the village and came to meet us. They ran ahead of us, laughing and chasing each other up and down the path. I grinned.
"It's amazing how happy they are, isn't it."
"Yeah, it is Tanjiro-kun. Well, at least they will be warm tonight aswell."
"Yup!"
The kids dispersed up ahead, travelling in different directions to their houses.
"Hey Tanjiro, I am going to see if people need help around the village whilst you sell the coal. Should we meet up here again in an hour or so?"
"Okay, sure! Be safe!"
I ran ahead. The kids had come back now, and they ran up to me.
