"AND YOU DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO TELL ME?!"

Frank exclaimed that we all met up at a certain supermall just by the center of the city. It was finally the weekend, and we got to take a breather from the first week of school, which went well. After finding out that we worked together, Frank almost immediately invited us out for the weekend.

"Anyways, Tzuyu... This is Frank." I started. "Frank, this is Tzuyu-"

"T-TZUYU-AH!!! I'M SUCH A HUGE FAN!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE MY GODDESS IS RIGHT HERE IN FRONT OF ME!" Frank immediately lent out his hand, his inner Once absolutely freaking out that his own bias was right in front of him.

"It's nice to meet you too, Frank," Tzuyu replied with a small smile as she shook his hand back. He then looks at it with such bright eyes, before turning to me once again.

"I am never washing this hand again." He muttered out with a bright smile.

"... Really, now?" I sighed with an unamused look.

"Let me have this man! I-IT'S NOT EVERY DAY YOU GET TO SEE CHOU TZUYU IN THE FLESH!!!" Frank bantered with a rather fanboy-ish expression that was pretty hilarious to me. "DON'T THINK THAT YOU'VE GOTTEN OFF THE HOOK FOR SPENDING A WHOLE DAMNED DAY!"

"Yeah, whatever..." I smiled. "At least we have a pretty smooth weekend to ourselves."

"So, how did the assignment go, Y/N?" Frank asked.

"Well, uhm... I mean-"

"Y/N was so amazing... Our assignment managed to rank as the second highest in class." Tzuyu replied with a smile, interrupting me. "We almost got every question right, but I accidentally misspelled one of the identification sections of the assignment..."

"Showing off to Tzuyu, eh?" Frank smugly looked at me, which I immediately shook off.

"Shut up, Frank." I huffed and continued to elaborate further on what Tzuyu had said. "We just did the assignment as usual. And it's no different that Walter got the highest points once again."

Besides... I'm second to him as usual...

And you know how that day would go for me.

...

"And the highest score belongs to the pair of Walter and Lenny."

Professor Arden announced to the class whose pair got the highest scores on the assignment. Once again, Walter had reached the top of the class, which earned a round of applause from the rest of the class. Honestly, There's nothing new about it, he's the best after all.

"See? I told ya'~! If Tzuyu had been paired with me, she would've been paired with the best there is~!" Walter said, obviously having a jab at me. The way he looked at me felt a bit like he was pretty much showing off, trying to rub it in that he was superior to me or pretty much anyone else.

"Walter's just too good at this man... You're the best, Walter~!" Lenny smiled genuinely, however, and he didn't share the same sentiment as Walter's show-offish nature. 

However, it continued to sting me how much more inferior I was with all of the ways the environment was acting up. I have those who try to keep on rubbing their achievements and abilities upon others, making them feel superior and better. And it makes matters worse when they can prove those skills. I could feel myself feel insignificant more than ever.

That's when I felt a hand touch mine, only for me to see Tzuyu smiling at me. It had this reassuring sense of both gratitude and relief that we made it through our first assignment.
