Rose's POV

Changing the subject, Jisung asked, "By the way, are you free this week? Maybe we can have a barbecue trip together?"

"Sounds good For me! I'm free. What about you, girls?" Yeji responded, glancing at us. We all nodded with smiles, readily accepting the idea.

"Yeah, let's have a barbecue!" Lia said excitedly.

"And you guys?" Jisung glanced at his members, and they all nodded too.

"Of course!" Chan chimed in with a smile.

"Then we should fix a date, this weekend maybe? On Saturday?" I suggested, though I'm still embarrassed of what happened.

"Yeah, on Saturday," Changbin agreed.

Yuna nodded, "Good!"

"It's settled then!" Yeji said, then we got separated as each group walked to their cars that will take them to their dorms.

As this year comes to a close, tension lingers between Leeknow and me. I can't help but hope that this tension is a sign of something meaningful blossoming between us in the coming year, or maybe there won't be any.

I feel like I'm losing hope, but in the same time, I don't want to, I want to keep trying to get Leeknow's attention.

It's been two days since the matching hoodies incident. That night, I really didn't sleep, I couldn't shake off what happened in my head.

I stuffed a small backpack for the trip, making sure I get all my important stuff. And the most crucial? A very heavy coat. It's seriously cold out there, and I don't wanna risk catching a cold.

The sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow. The crackling sound of the fire grew louder as we joined the StrayKids members, as we approached the spot, we saw eight chairs that Stray Kids members were sitting on, in a half-circle with a fire in the middle.

We added our six chairs to complete the circle, the dancing flames were in the middle of it.

"Hey, we're here!" Ryujin shouted as we put our chairs to complete the half-circle.

Chan smiled, "Finally we're complete now!"

I sighed as I sat on my chair, I reached my hands toward the warmth of the fire, as my eyes lingered on Leeknow secretly, in a dark green coat, his brunet hair was a bit neat, and his eyes were captivated by the red flames. He didn't notice me looking at him, because he's still..oblivious...

Time passed, as laughter and conversations filled the air, making our time together enjoyable. The smell of burning coal wafted through the crisp evening air.

Leeknow took charge of setting up for the barbecue. Confidently handling the grilling, it was clear that he had a good grasp of barbecuing, and that was making him more attractive in my eyes.

I decided to help; honestly, I just wanted to find an excuse to talk with him.

I approached him. He noticed me and slightly smiled. My heart raced as I returned the smile. "Hey, need any help?"

"Um.. not really, I'm fine," he said, and shook his head.

I nodded, "Okay.." I paused, thinking of something to continue the conversation, "So, you have a good grasp of barbecuing, I guess, right?"
