Riley pov

I was in my room on my computer reading on this website called whattpad it's so awesome when my mom barged into my room

I turn my chair around and face her

"uh, ever hear of knocking"? I ask and cross my arms

"Guess where we're going." mom says excited and ignoring my question

"Where"? I ask

"Your ants house, and we're gonna be there the whole summer"! Mom says

"WHAT"!! i say shocked "we can't go no way." I say throwing my hands in the air to make my point.

"Why not" my mom asks confused

"Because my ant lives in California, and I can't just pick up and leave Lucas the whole summer."

"I figured you would say that, so... HES COMING WITH US" mom exclaims

I jump out of my chair "REALLY?" I ask excited

"Yup we called his mom and she said it's ok he's packing as we speak." Mom says and smiles

I race out of my room grab my jacket and head out the door

"bye mom" I yell

I walk fast to Lucas's place, once I'm at his door I'm about to knock when his mom opens the door

"I knew you would be here once you found out." His mom says and giggles "he's in the living room, and he has a surprise for you" she says smirking

'Uh thanks tori" I say a little weirded out and slip into the apartment to see Lucas on the ground picking his stuff still I sit on the floor with him

"hey Romeo" I say to him and slightly giggle he looks at me and widely smiles, he dropped what he was doing picked me up and sat me down on his lap.

"Why so happy." I ask him trying not to laugh

"Because you're here." he said and tighten his grip around my waist.

I turn my head to him "cheesy much." I say to him and start playing with his hair.

"Oh you know you love it." He says and leans us back into the couch.

"So.. " I say

"So.. What do you wanna do?" He asks

"I don't know, wanna watch the mortal instruments"? I ask

He shrugs "sure"

I get off the couch and pop the movie in, I get on the couch with Lucas, he puts his arm around me and we snuggle while watching the movie.
