(Dev's POV)

The morning had barely begun when chaos erupted. Meera and I were deep in our investigation at the station, trying to make sense of the cryptic threats, when an officer handed me another envelope.

The note inside was terse and chilling: "Let's start the game. Save if you can. Meet you at Myra's house."

The ominous warning made my blood run cold. I knew something terrible was about to happen at Myra's parents' house, but the threat was clear-it was a trap designed to put me in an impossible position.

Before I could act, my phone rang. It was Myra, her voice a mix of panic and heartbreak.

"Dev, there's been an explosion at my parents' house. My neighbor called me. They're trapped!"

"I'm on my way. Stay put," I said, my pulse racing. I grabbed my coat, signaling to Meera, and we rushed out of the station.

The drive to Myra's parents' house was a blur, the urgency of the situation pressing heavily on my mind.

When we arrived, the house was engulfed in flames, smoke billowing into the sky
