So, this story is technically a sequel to my other story, Farseer Falling, which follows both Caius and Nuadan one hundred years prior to this one during the first time that they met. You don't have to read that one first, however. Farseer provides some background context on Nuadan and Caius' unconventional friendship, but it's not necessary for you to have read Farseer to also read and enjoy Aquila. I explain everything within the story itself, so this all is self-contained with no additional reading required.
