"Get up, Rin."

The young girl's frail body struggled to push herself back up. Her father gave her a nasty look, like he's been doing ever since she came into this world.

Rin's hands were shaking but she still managed to grip her katana in front of her. She was exhausted, her body was too young to be enduring this kind of training. But Rin couldn't stop even if she wanted to or even if anyone tells her to. No. Not after she was humiliated by a non-sorcerer in front of her whole clan.

Remembering that day made Rin's chest burn in hatred.

"Again!" The sound of wooden katanas echoed in the Myogi training room. Rin felt the harsh pain as some of the hits got past her defense.

Out of nowhere, Rin felt a strong force on her waist. Her father just kicked her that sent her across the room. A looming aura slowly erupted in her shadow, and then, it started to let out a snarl. The curse with four massive arms was trying to rip his way out of her shadows. Rin clenched her fists.

Her father kept a blank gaze as the tall shadow seemed to have gotten bigger and bigger. It could feel her distress. Her pain. Her anger. And this particular curse will do anything to protect its master.

"Control it, Rin. Are you gonna let the Shinigami out every time you're in distress?" Her father's authoritative tone rang in her ears.

"I...I can't!"

But she was trying her best not to let him out since this morning when the tremendous training started, and she was starting to get tired, her emotions were all over the place.

"Do it, Rin! That is an order!"

"Undercover work?" Rin leans her head onto her knuckles while pondering on principal Yaga's offer. "Seems like a boring way to waste my time. I'll have to pass."

Gojo tilted his head in confusion. "The uptight Myogi Rin is declining an important mission? Woah, bet you don't see that everyday." He joked, earning a glare from the woman.

"I'm not declining," she spoke lazily. "I'm just-"

"It's not an offer," Yaga cut her off. "It's a serious mission and we cannot give it to the lower ranks." Principal Yaga spoke in a serious tone. This caused Rin to lift her self from her chair.

"This contains a classified information, it could be catastrophic if we get anyone in the defense force involved. So I need you to handle this, understood?" With than, Rin accepted the file from Yaga.

"Yes sir,"

"So," Gojo stretched out his arms and looks at the female walking next to him. "It's been a crazy week huh. The king of curses being brought back, this cursed object,-"

"Is this your plan of small talk Satoru?" Rin spoke with no emotion present in her tone. "What do you want?"

"Nothing!" The white-haired female looks at him, Gojo raises his hands in defeat. "I swear! I just want you to be careful that's all!"

Rin looks at him weirdly, as if she was disgusted by him.

"Geez what with this, are you gonna start weeping on me? Do you need a tissue or something?" It was hard to figure out that she was being sarcastic because of her blank tone, but Gojo could always tell.

"Damn it you're so mean!" Rin let out a lowly chuckle. "I'm serious. You may not know this but, the defense force and our organization aren't on good terms at all. If you get made, the missions over. There's no talking to them on it I'm sure."

"What are you saying, that they know about the jujutsu community?" Rin asked confused. It has always been a mystery to non-sorcerers why there's many sudden deaths or disappearances in the country. Most of them blames kaijus because of it, and the only people who knows about them are sorcerers, or those people in the main jujutsu families.

"Oh they know about us alright, they just refuse to believe our existence." Gojo says with a hint of bitterness in his tone.

"You sulking because they can't fawn over you?"

"Hey! I'm the first person to inherit the limitless and six eyes! Plus! I'm freakin' handsome! I'm pretty cool if they ever believed MY existence!"

"Sure, Satoru."
