Estrella steps out of the front seat and grabs her book bag. She slides her phone in one of the pockets in her book bag. She looks up at the bright blue sky with a few clouds occasionally cruising through the sky. Estrella believes that whenever the sun is shining and the sky is gleaming, it's going to be a beautiful day. Chloe finally hops out of the car, holding her script in one hand and her water bottle in the other.
"You ready?" Chloe asks her little sister. The younger sister nods and follows Chloe into the building. Chloe takes a piece of paper from her back pocket and peers at it. She slides it back into her pocket as they head to the elevator, meeting a brunette girl on the way up.
"Oh, hey, who are you?" Estrella asks.
"Clementine, but you can call me Clem. I'm playing Thalia in PJO. How about you?" Clementine replies joyfully.
"Well, I'm only an extra. My sister is playing Hylla," Estrella answers, pointing to her older sister.
"Yeah, that's me," Chloe responds awkwardly. She fidgets with her hands nervously. The elevator button dings as they arrive on the 3rd floor for filming. "You first, Clem." Clementine walks out of the elevator while the two sisters follow after. They walk next to Clementine as they knock on the door. It takes a minute for someone to open it when Rick finally comes out.
"Hello actresses. Come on in! We're having a welcome meeting with all of the cast in 20. For now, go say hi to new people." Rick explained quickly. Clementine walks off to talk to the director.
"Listen, I'm going to find Charlie and Dior. Maybe you can look for Walker?" Chloe suggests. Estrella raises an eyebrow. She feels skeptical about this idea.
"Okay, see you later," Estrella agrees, walking away from her older sister. She searches for Walker, Aryan, and Leah when she finds a figure talking to two girls. The person turns around to reveal Walker, who's face lights up when he sees Estrella.
"Hey girl!" Leah calls, giving Estrella a hug. Walker leans in and gives Estrella a side hug. They weren't that good of friends yet. The other girl whispers to Leah while Walker hugs Estrella.
"She's Chloe's sister," Leah explains. "She's on set as an extra."
"Oh, you're her sister. Mhm," the other girl judges. Estrella tries to contain her eye roll.
"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Estrella replies. "An introduction would've been swell. I'm Estrella. What about you?"
"Hana. Hana Kim. No need to get so worked up about it, Stella," Hana responds. "Well, I need to talk to some people. Bye Leah! Bye Walker!" Hana starts to walk away when she turns around and glares at Estrella.
"She seems...nice. I guess," Leah says after a few minutes of silence.
"Well, I can show you around. Charlie and Dior are over there by your sister, Aryan is talking with the girl that plays Clementine, and the rest of us are here," Walker rambles. Estrella finds it cute.
"Thanks. Just can't believe this is actually happening, it just doesn't feel real," Estrella answers as Leah walks away from the two.
"That's how I felt on my first day on set. But, it will feel real very soon. This place will feel like your home soon," Walker explains. "Well, if you want, you can walk with me to the meeting area. We'll be starting soon."
"Sure, why not," Estrella answers. She takes her phone and puts it on do not disturb just in case. She didn't want any mishaps happening during her first impression with most of the actors. She was just excited to be on set alongside her sister...and Walker.
