Gina
Show day.

I can't believe it. We've finally made it.

I'm very nervous. It's my first show without Ricky, and I don't know what to make of that!

And I've gotta be pregnant!

Come on!

Ricky
It'll be weird today. First off, going to my high school's first show without me, and I get to see my girlfriend on stage pregnant!

I don't know what to think.

Here we go.

I walk through the doors, instantly seeing old parents I remember, being greeted by some and then, the ringleader herself.

"Ricky Bowen." Miss Jenn opens her arms.

"Miss Jenn." I return the hug, an eyebrow raised. "How are you."

"Oh, just fine. And you're nineteen, Ricky. You can call me Jennifer."

"Sure. Okay, that might take a while." I laugh.

"Richard Bowen. Jenn Jennifer." I hear a familiar deep voice.

"Well if isn't my tallest child!" Miss Jenn squeals.

"Hey, EJ!" I pat him on the back.

"How's it going Bowen?"

"It's going."

"School good?"

"Liking it. You were right, college is...it's different."

He nods. "How's Gina?"

"She's doing okay."

"Just okay?"

I sigh. "Honestly, I can tell she's struggling with the whole high schooler dating a college kid. She thinks I care about that."

He shakes his head. "Good call on her part then."

"What do you mean?"

"I we stayed together? She'd be a senior in my second year."

"True."

"Just keep showing her you're not worried about that. Over and over, yeah?"

"Yeah."

"You're a good one, Rick."

"So are you. Okay, enough seriousness, how's Val?"

He flushed. "Oh...ummm."

It's act 2.

And wow, Gina was amazing.

I'm gonna go see her. Can I? Would it be more special to wait until after. Yeah...probably.

"Richard Bowen."

Again?

"Nina." I joke, turning to face her.

She grins. "How we doing, Sk8r boi?"

"Fantastic."

She places her hands in her hips. "Your girlfriend's doing pretty great out there."

"Yeah. She is."

And with that, Gina's third and final winter musical is over.

I see her eyes glowing on stage after bows, giving Jack, her (unfortunate) love interest, a hug.

And I know that glow means tears.

But soon she's waving someone on stage. Nini?

And Nini is running off stage with her? And they come back on with four...oh.

Four apples.

No way.
