Continuing from 'New Earth - Part III'

WHEN THE DOCTOR'S EYES REOPENED, head suddenly pounding, he found himself trapped inside one of the many cells. Memories resurfaced and when he saw that Lily wasn't with him he began to bang on the door. "Let me out!" His banging began harder, shaking the glass. "LET ME OUT!"

Lily's face came into view on the other side of the door. Yet, before the Doctor thought to open his mouth, he saw the dark look in Lily's usual shining eyes. A smug look on their face which was always compassionate and kind. Rose face down on the floor near her feet. "Aren't you lucky there was a spare?" "Lily" smirked at the Doctor- running her nails down the glass of the door. "Standing room only."

The Doctor didn't need to ask what he already knew. "Cassandra, leave Lily's body." He ordered with a menacing growl. "Now."

She rolled her eyes with a huff of annoyance. "Look here, it's either her or the blonde and I've never been ginger before." She said thoughtfully as her fingers fluffed up the roots of her red hair. "Couldn't pass up this opportunity. And I'm in her head. I-" Cassandra-Lily paused, a cruel smile stretching her lips. "Oh! The little bitch can't age!" She laughed in utter delight as the Doctor thrashed even harder to free himself. "What's a better body than one that cannot age? Ooh.." She smirked as a stray hand ran down Lily's hips. "I'm loving her more already."

"If you don't-"

"Oh hush now, Doctor." She interrupted him, trailing Lily's nails down over the glass- enough to leave scratch marks in its path. "Mommy's talking." The Doctor forced his body to not be affected in the way she had wanted him to- this sultry voice wasn't his Lily. His Red. "You know . ." She drew out her words. "Over the years, I've thought of a thousand ways to kill you, Doctor. And now, that's exactly what I've got. One thousand diseases. They pump the patients with a top-up every ten minutes. You've got about three minutes left." She then uses the toe of Lily's boot to nudge Rose's leg. "I'll leave blondie here to suffer the consequences. Enjoy!"

"Just let Lily go, Cassandra." He wasn't above begging and pleading if it meant Lily would be safely returned to him and Rose left unharmed. "Let them both go."

He watched as Cassandra-Lily put up a show of pretending to think- her finger tapping on her chin and lips twisted to the side. "Hmm .. " She hummed before making a face. "Nah, I think I'll keep her. Now hushaby." With a giddy laugh, she started stepping back. "It's showtime."

She moved out of eyesight from the Doctor but his hearts could rest a little as he could still hear her voice- now speaking what sounded like another familiar nurse.

"Anything we can do to help?"

"Straight to the point, Whiskers. I want money."

"The Sisterhood is a charity. We don't give money. We only accept."

"The humans across the water pay you a fortune, and that's exactly what I need. A one-off payment, that's all I want. Oh, and perhaps a yacht. In return for which, I shall tell the city nothing of your institutional murder. Is that a deal?"

"I'm afraid not."

"I'd really advise you to think about this."

"Oh, there's no need. I have to decline."

Cassandra-Lily's voice became louder and more desperate. "I'll tell them, and you've no way of stopping me. You're not exactly Nuns with Guns. You're not even armed."

"Who needs arms when we have claws?"

"Well, nice try. Chip? Plan B!"

The sound of a machine swung the Doctor's door open. He was quick to step out, surveying the scene as he knelt to check on Rose. Not only was he freed but so was the entire floor of dazed, diseased-ridden humans. Thankfully, Rose was starting to come to- eyes fluttering open. His eyes met Cassandra-Lily's in a harsh glare. "What've you done?"
