T H R E E

Belly and I walked up to the bomb fire looking around the guy from the gas station walked up to us talking to Belly and I walked away not caring. I grabbed a drink, looked around, and saw Jeremiah talking to a group of girls. I sighed and heard Steven and Belly fighting and then Belly fell to the ground and guess who was right in front of them. Conrad. He was making out with a girl. I saw the look on Belly's face and rushed to her and helped her. Jeremiah ran over and looked at us.

"Steven just go with Shayla," Jeremiah said looking at Steven. I looked over at Steven then the girl and they walked off. My head started to hurt a lot for some reason. I kind of wanted to go home.

"Hey I'm really glad you guys came" Jeremiah smiled at the both of us. This place is like a making-out place I saw while looking around. Maybe this also could be the night me and Jeremiah would kiss. I hope so. Then I heard some girls calling Jere over and he told us he would be right back and he ran off to them. Well, that thought was out the door. I knew he wouldn't be back He was probably making out with some girls. and then Belly decided to go somewhere and sit on the sand. I looked around all alone feeling like a loner and I then grabbed a drink and sat far away from the crowd kind of.

I heard someone walk up to me and It was a boy. Then I saw his face and it was Conrad. I thought he was with a girl right now. He then sat down next to me.

"Connie? What are you doing here? I thought you were with that girl" I asked while looking at him confused.

"Well she was catching up on somee friends and I thought I would would come over here and talk to you." He said. I could tell he was drunk by the way he was stumbling over his words. I nodded slowly and he put his head on my shoulder and he was really tired. I sighed and looked up at the stars then he popped up.

"I'm going to go get a drink," Conrad said then getting up and walking to buy a drink when a boy walked up to me. I looked over.

"Hi, I'm Mason! I thought you were really pretty so I wanted to come over here." He said then sitting down close to me. 

"Thank you, And I'm Aubrey," I said nodding while looking at him and smiling. He was cute not going to lie. The way his blonde hair was in front of his eyes. His eyes were brown too. Like a forest, you could get lost in. His eyes sparkled as well. That's when I realized We were staring at each other and was leaning in. Oh god is this happening? Is he about to kiss me? I just met him though. Are lips then met? I just went with it and I kissed him back. His lips were soft. It felt like clouds. Even though I just met him it felt like I had known him forever. Like a lifetime.

I then heard yelling and I looked around and saw Conrad getting into a fight. I then got up.

"Wait I'll be right back," I said looking at the fight and he grabbed my arm.

"Wait where are you going?"  He said looking at me.

"My best friend Conrad he's in that fight," I said getting out of his grip I walked over then I saw belly get punched and she fell to the ground and I yelled.

"Conrad! What the hell!" The guy then pushed me to the ground. Jeremiah then ran over and crouched down next to me. The guy who Belly was talking to helped her up and comforted her. Jeremiah then put his hand on my knee looking at me.

"You okay aubs?" Jere asked looking at me. He then grabbed my hand and helped me up. He is so sweet. Then blue lights shined at us and a cop car pulled up. Jeremiah grabbed my hand and we ran. Everybody started to scatter. 

I got into the passenger seat Jeremiah was in the driver's seat and Belly was talking to a guy.

"Belly let's go," Jeremiah said trying to get out of there. I looked at belly and the guy. I have never seen him before.

"Uh, cam can take me home," Belly said looking at Jeremiah

"I'm not letting a guy you just met take you home," Jeremiah said getting ticked off because the cops were there.

"I'm Cam, Cameron," The boy said. holding his hand out to shake Jeremiah's hand and he didn't budge.

"Your name is Cam Cameron?" He raised his eyebrows confused and trying to rush.

"Cameron.. and We knew each other from a 7th grade convention." The boy said moving his hand away and trying to convince Jeremiah to let Belly go with him.

"Yeah, no I'm good. Belly get into the car." Jeremiah said getting more mad.

"Belly just get in the car," Conrad said with his hand on his forehead. His head was on Alex's lap as a pillow. Alex was looking over at belly.

"You best be going," The boy said to Belly. I was looking at the two interacting and they were looking at each other when belly kissed the boy. I smiled and my mouth was open and I was shocked. I was so happy for belly. Belly got into the car in the backseat next to Alex.

As we were driving out of the parking lot Jeremiah slammed on the breaks.

"Shit Steven!" Jeremiah took his seatbelt off and opened the door.

"Watch him!" He said pointing at Conrad and slamming the door running.

When I was waiting my head my pounding so my head was on the window with my eyes closed when a flashlight was shined into our car. I looked over to see a cop at our window shining in. Great just great. 

"You kids been drinking tonight?" The officer said. After that, we were picked up by the cops and once all six of us walked inside with the police officers. Laurel came walking in.

"What is going on?" Laurel said looking at the six of us. Conrad was sitting on the bench. I was standing next to Jeremiah. Belly was standing with Steven and Alex. The cops were talking about wanting to talk to Mr. Fisher when he gets back. My head was pounding so hard that it was hard to focus on what Laurel was saying to us.

"Mom, were you smoking?" Steven asked.

"Shh Susannah is asleep on the couch." She said crossing her arms and looking at Steven then turning to Conrad.

"You're the oldest you know better act like it!" she said to Conrad.'

"you're an adult you act like it," Conrad said clearly not having it. Laurel then sent everybody upstairs and she talked to Conrad but I went upstairs holding my head. 

As I walked into my room I lay down for a moment till I heard someone walk in. 

As they spoke they had a soothing deep voice that I could melt into and I knew it was Jeremiah. I turned to look at Jeremiah.

"Hey, Jere," I said with my hand on my head and tired.

"You okay? I saw the way you looked and I thought I would bring you something." Jere said sitting next to me putting his hand on my leg and looking concerned. He had given me water and some medicine.

"Thank you, Jere.." He handed me the medicine and ice-cold water. I took the medicine and I lay down. Jere was looking at me for a moment and I was looking at him. There was an awkward silence for a bit then he spoke.

"Who was that guy you hooked up with?" When Jere said that I looked at him and my heart dropped.

"Uh, it was just this kid Mason," I said looking at him and he just nodded. It was silent for a moment.

"Well goodnight aubs," Jeremiah said Rubbing my head a bit. I leaned into his touch and he got up and left. I then turned my light off and laid down. I lay there for a bit then I fell asleep.
