Disgust x Envy

Disgust hated it when Envy always admired her hair and tried to touch it. It annoyed Disgust to no end. Or when Envy just attaches herself to her almost 24/7. Sometimes Disgust would just wish that Envy would disappear. Unfortunately that wish came true... Disgust was standing by the control panel messing with her finger nails with a nail filer. Without noticing, Envy came up to her giving Disgust those glistening hypnotic look in her eyes. Envy starts to hug her leg. Disgust felt that as she groaned quietly not in the mood to deal with Envy again. "Ugh, what do you want this time. As If I can't already guess..." Disgust said.

"I just...if only if was like you...then you and I could have something in common..." Envy replied as she still had ahold of her leg. Disgust rolled her eyes sighing for the 150th time today. She really wasn't having it...She picked Envy up at her level and looked at her in disgust and annoyance. "Well guess what...you and I will never have anything in common!" Envy gasped a little shocked that Disgust raised her voice. "Even if we did, I still wouldn't want to be around you!" Envy frowned a little. "Oh don't give me the look, it's not going to work for me this time..." Disgust set Envy down on the ground. "Now go bother someone else and leave me alone" Disgust walked off leaving an upset Envy by herself by the control panel. Envy started to think about those words Disgust said.

"Maybe... maybe I'm not going to be good enough for her..." Envy starts to sniffle as a tear rolled down her cheek. "Maybe I'm just a nobody... nobody that no one wants to be around... maybe I'm better off without the other emotions... it's not like I can be like them anyway..." She walks off. Days have past and Disgust was able to enjoy her peace from Envy. She didn't even bother to question where Envy was regarding of her being gone for over several days. It didn't concern her at all. Or did it?...

The emotions gathered up for a meeting about Envys disappearence. Disgust was there but she wasn't concerned...yet...

"So... have any of you guys seen Envy? It's been almost a week and I haven't seen any sign of her" Joy said.

"Well... the last time I saw her is with Disgust..." Fear replied. Everyone looked at Disgust as if she did something wrong. Disgust looked at them with that careless look. "what?"

"Disgust, did you do something to Envy?" 

"Pff no"

"Really? Because I know that Envy always likes to attach to you" Anger said. 

"And she always admires you like 24/7" Fear said.

"Yeah but...I didn't do anything, okay?" Disgust replied irritably. Everyone looked at her not believing her. "what you guys think I kicked her out of Headquarters?" 

"Well you said that you wish you could..." Joy said.

"Yeah but it doesn't mean Envy took it literally... does it?"

"No but you obviously did something to make Envy disappear like that"

Disgust couldn't take the confrontation. "Alright! Alright... maybe I told Envy that she'll never be like me and I didn't want to be around her... while yelling..."

"Disgust, how could you?" Anxiety asked.

"Because, she'll never be like me?" Disgust replied.

"Yeah I know that but you shouldn't say it straight to her face..."

Disgust didn't say anything back as she looked down at the floor feeling a little bad. "Well hopefully Envy returns, if not...then we have a problem..." Joy said. The other emotions went their separate ways. Disgust stood there in guilt. Perhaps she shouldn't have yelled at Envy? More days have passed and there was still no sign of Envy. Disgust started to get concerned now. It's been two full weeks and she still hasn't even shown up. Disgust wanted to pretend like she didn't care but she couldn't. All Envy wanted was to be like her even if she couldn't. Not wanting to tell Envy, Disgust had slight feelings for the little emotion. Yeah it's weird but Disgust couldn't ignore her feelings. So she just pushed Envy away as possible as she could. One night Disgust decided to look for Envy. She took the elevator in Headquarters that was also the exit of Headquarters (I know it isn't the exit in the film). Once she got out she started to search for Envy.

She checked a few of the personality islands, the system of belief, and imagination land because why not. She still couldn't find her. Disgust noticed a restricted area as it was taped off. This area was known as the forbidden zone (Made up area in Riley's mind). Though the area looked like a forest it still had forbidden stuff hidden in it. With no other choice she crossed the tapped section. She started calling out Envys name. But there was no response. Just the quite wind. She continued to look around. Then she noticed a little figure laying still on the ground. She walked closer to see what it was. She gasped. It was Envy. She had a few scars and bruises on her body. Her wardrobe had tears all over it. She looked...dead..."Envy....what... happened?" She gently picked her up and held her in a bridal style. She listened to Envys heartbeat. Luckily it was still beating. But very slowly. Disgust had to get Envy back to Headquarters quick. 

Once Disgust got in Headquarters she took Envy to her room. She lays Envy on her bed. Looking at the little emotion on her bed all motionless made Disgust feel sick and guilty. Disgust grabbed a first aid kit and tended to Envys wounds. After she was finished she decided to lay in bed. She had Envy in her arms holding her as if she was her offspring. Disgust laid there silently hoping that Envy would wake up. Disgust ended up falling asleep though. Luckily Envy slowly opened one eye gaining consciousness again. But she closed it again. In the morning Disgust woke up to check on Envy. Surprisingly enough, Envy had her eyes opened a little. She gasped and gave Envy a little hug. "I'm so glad you're okay...I was worried about you..." Disgust said as she rose up from her bed. She still had Envy in her arms though. 

"W-where am I?..." Envy replied weakly.

"Your in my room. Do you not remember anything?"

"I remember you yelling at me, then I left Headquarters, I wandered into the forbidden, and then everything went pitch black for me..."

"Something must've attacked you...but I'm glad I found you in time and now that your safe... Also...I want to apologize for yelling at you a few weeks ago. I shouldn't have done that. It's just... well...I like you Envy..." Disgust said.

"Like in like me as a friend?" 

"No as a... crush..."

"Oh..." Envy blushed a bit.

"But after everything I've done you don't deserve to date a bad emotion like me..."

"No it's fine...I forgive you. I'm impressed that you got out of your way to find me. If you didn't find me, then I would probably be dead"

"That's true. Your safe now..."

The two emotions looked at each other. Disgust gently lifts Envy up to her face. Then they slowly lean in for a kiss. As they kissed. Envy winces at her injuries but Disgust continued to kiss Envy to comfort her. After a few seconds of making out the two snuggles each other. After that morning Disgust treated Envy with respect ever since.
