I slept merely minutes the nigt of my wedding. But when Ellie came to awaken me I did not want to get up.
"5 more minutes Ellie" I said but she did not leave me alone.
"Miss, it is your wedding day" She said and I sat up immediately remembering the fact that I am to be married today, in a few hours.
"Oh my god" I said happily as my mama walked into the room happily, Mrs. Wilson behind with a tray of food.
"Good morning my darling" She said as Mrs. Wilson set the tray on my bed next to me and I smiled brightly.
"Good morning mama" I said and she smiled at me.
"Happy wedding day, I brought you some eggs, some toast and some fruit. Even though it is your wedding day, we hace a lot of last minute activities to do" She said and I smiled and nodded.
"Your wedding gown arrived yesterday and it it truly gorgeous" She said and I smiled brightly midts a bite of eggs.
"Can I see it?" I said with my mouth full and she grimaced but nodded.
"Bring it in please Ellie" Mama said and Ellie nodded softly and walked out of the room as I took a bite from the buttered toast and I smiled at my mother.
"Did you sleep well?" She asked and I nodded smiling and swallowed the toast.
"I could not sleep at first but then I slept quite well" I said and she nodded, smiling.
"Good it is important to be rested on your wedding day" She said and I smiled softly. At that moment Ellie walked in with my wedding dress and I gasped in surprise and stood up immediately.
"Good Lord this is gorgeous" I said as I touched the fabric, smiling at the sewn in white flowers on the tulle of the dress. I felt myself tear up lightly as I saw it, it was truly gorgeous and breathtaking.
"You will look breathtaking in it my dear" Mama said and I smiled at her softly as I fought back tears.
"Thank you mama" I said and she only smiled at me.
"Now finish your breakfast, we have loads to do today" She said and I shook my head and chuckled as I went back to my bed to finish my breakfast and looked down at my ring.
The diamond in the middle of the beautifully shaped metal was absolutely beautiful. I do wonder if this fine piece of jelwery is a family heirloom or something of the sort, it is exceptionally beautiful.
"What are you thinking about dearest?" Mama asked and I looked up at her smiling softly.
"I was just wondering if the ring is a family heirloom" I said and she smiled and stared at me with a soft gaze.
"You must ask him, I know he will be happy to tell you" Mama said and I smiled.
"I know" I said in a mere murmur and she chuckled. I finished my breakfast and looked up at my mother who was still smiling.
