In yet another cell, Ringo looks out and notices a trail of long golden hair in front of him. "That's a lot of hair." He said. In the shadows stands another figure, and it slowly approaches the drummer. Though he's nervous, Ringo was curious to know who was coming over to see him. It's revealed to be a woman with long golden hair wearing a light purple dress.

"Hello. Are you okay?" Asked the woman. "Physically, yes. Mentally, no." Said Ringo. "Oh no, what happened?" The woman asked. "Let's just say me mates and I went through something traumatic before we wound up in this dreadful prison." Ringo said. "Who brought you here?" Asked the woman. "Duvessa, some villain who has a wicked plot to ensure we die in this time period." Said Ringo. "Oh my gosh! Don't worry, I'll help you, sir. What's your name?" The woman asked. "Richard Starkey, but everyone calls me Ringo Starr. And yours?" Ringo asked. "Rapunzel." Said the woman.

"Pretty name. Anyway, Rapunzel, I saw this long trail of hair in front of my cell. Is it yours?" Asked Ringo. "Yes it is. But I must tell you, my hair just so happens to have magic, and it glows when I sing." Rapunzel said. "What kind of magic?" Ringo asked. "Healing magic." Said Rapunzel. "Wow! The wife of one of me mates has healing magic too!" Said Ringo excitedly.

Rapunzel smiles. "That's amazing!" She said. "But she doesn't have to sing in order for them to work." Ringo said. "Ah." Rapunzel said. Ringo suddenly winces. "What's wrong?" Asked Rapunzel. "While I was trying to break this cell open, I ended up cutting one of me hands." Said Ringo. He shows Rapunzel the scar on his right hand. "It doesn't look too bad, but I can fix it for you." She said.

Ringo gives Rapunzel his hand as she wraps her hair around it. "Maybe you can tell me more about your magic hair after you're finished." Ringo said. "I certainly will, now try to keep still." Rapunzel said.

The drummer nods at the long-haired princess sings her healing song.

Flower, gleam and glow
Let your powers shine
Make the clock reverse
Bring back what once was mine

Heal what has been hurt
Change the fates' design
Save what has been lost
Bring back what once was mine

What once was mine

Rapunzel's hair stops glowing after she finished her song, then she removes it from Ringo's hand. "Wow, it really works!" He said. "As long as it doesn't get cut." Said Rapunzel. "Pardon?" Asked Ringo. "When I was taken by Mother Gothel as a baby, she told me people wanted to cut and take my hair for themselves." Rapunzel said. "Sounds like a creepy woman." Ringo said with a shudder.

"Oh, I found out the real reason she stole me years ago, but let me tell you what happens once my hair gets cut." Said Rapunzel. "I'm listening." Said Ringo. "It turns brown and loses its power." Rapunzel said. "Crikey! Has anyone tried cutting it once before?" Ringo said. "The man I fell in love with, Flynn Ryder, whose real name is Eugene Fitzherbert, cut my hair to save me after Mother Gothel wounded him." Said Rapunzel. "All of it?" Asked Ringo.

"Apparently the magic in my hair kept Gothel young. But without it, she'd rapidly age into an old woman, and eventually turn to dust." Rapunzel said. "That's creepy. But how did your hair grow back?" Ringo asked. "I touched a thorn like rock, which turned out to be magic. A strand of my brown hair started glowing, which hinted it was starting to grow back." Said Rapunzel. "My goodness!" Said Ringo.

"Like the thorns, my hair became unbreakable, and I tried hiding it from my real parents and everyone else in the kingdom, but to no avail." Rapunzel said. "Why would you hide it from your family? I'd think they'd be overjoyed to see your true hair." Ringo said. "I did have golden hair since I was a baby, but when I reunited with my family, it was brown." Said Rapunzel. "Oh, that explains a lot." Said Ringo.

Rapunzel pats the drummer's shoulder. "Now, how would you like to try a little healing yourself?" She asked. "Me, have healing magic? Oh no, I couldn't possibly." Ringo said. "It's really simple, Ringo. Here." Rapunzel said. She reaches into the cell and hands Ringo a golden flower.

"What's this?" Asked Ringo. "It's a replica of a magic flower that has the same powers as my hair. It'll give you healing magic." Said Rapunzel. "How?" Ringo asked. "All I can tell you is to hold still while it's in your hand. Let the magic flow through you." Rapunzel said. Ringo nods and remembers the instructions he's taught.

Not a minute too soon, the drummer starts glowing. Though he wants to react, Ringo remains still as instructed. After the glow fades, Rapunzel smiles in amazement.

"Is it done? Do I have magic?" Asked Ringo. "From the way I saw you glowing, yes. Now let's test it out. Are you hurt on any other parts of your body?" Asked Rapunzel. "I did get a scratch on me leg while I was sitting here." Ringo said. "Alright then, use your powers on your leg." Rapunzel said.

Ringo rolls up his pant leg a little bit and puts his hand on it to test his new powers. A glow appears under his hand then disappears a minute later. The drummer lifts up his hand and notices the scratch is gone.

"Hey, it worked!" Said Ringo. "Well done, Ringo! Now that you know how to use the magic, I can let you out." Said Rapunzel. She removed the lock when she arrived, but didn't open the cell door right away. Now that she's letting Ringo out, Rapunzel uses her hair like a lasso and opens his cell.

"Thanks a bunch, Rapunzel." Ringo said. "No problem. I wish you the best of luck on your search. And I hope you find your way home soon." Rapunzel said. She gives the drummer a kiss on his cheek before he leaves.
