Your expression is turning cold again
It feels like I'm falling
My whole world is crumbling down
I lost my wings
I'm only crashing  ❞ ──  KAI

Ryujin shouted, "Stop it!" but the boys paid no attention. She tried to pull Beomgyu, but when Sungchan was pushed in the face, he stumbled, causing Ryujin to be pushed across the room. This movement made an old mirror lose balance and nearly fall on her. To shield her, Sungchan fell on top of Ryujin, and the mirror fell on him, resulting in some cuts.

In a moment of panic, Beomgyu pushed Sungchan aside to protect Ryujin, unintentionally causing Sungchan's head to hit a dresser, leading to a deep cut from a mirror shard near his neck.

The day was meant to be a time of joy and triumph after a tough soccer match, but it fell into chaos; injured individuals, fights, and bloodshed. Beomgyu's eyes widened in shock as he witnessed Sungchan's injuries. He stood frozen in place, unsure of how to react to the accidental situation. Meanwhile, Ryujin slowly got up and rushed to Sungchan's side.

"Are you okay?" She asked and he answered with a groan in pain as the blood dripped from his neck... "Oh my god!"

Ryujin couldn't bear to see Sungchan in that state; it brought back painful memories of a time when she had come close to losing him. She swiftly covered the wound on his neck to halt the bleeding. She glared at Beomgyu with a deadly stare. "You fucking idiot, what have you done?"

Beomgyu stood there, shaking, with a blank look, lost in thoughts that led him back to the past.

Seven years ago...

Beomgyu eagerly arrived at school, carrying a beautiful bouquet of daisies. His heart was filled with genuine happiness on that day. He vividly recalled his grandmother's words, reminding him that if he became a good boy at school, his parents would not argue anymore. She had emphasized the importance of being kind to all his friends at school, without any exceptions, for that change to take place.

"If you fought with a friend, give her favorite flowers as a way to make peace, I'm sure she will love it. You can take some flowers from my garden and take them to school on Flower's Day " Beomgyu's grandmother said.

He listened to the wise words of his beloved grandmother and picked the most beautiful daisies from her garden. He wasn't sure if Ryujin's favorite flowers were daisies, but since she wore a daisy-print bag and all of her notebooks had daisy stickers on them, he guessed it was her favorite flower.

As soon as he stepped into the classroom, he carefully put the bouquet on Ryujin's desk. Little did he know that Sungchan had already arrived, quietly observing his actions.

"What are you doing at Ryujin's desk?"

"It's none of your business, get out of here, idiot."

"Why did you put these flowers there? Today is the pepero day, not the flowers day."

"I said it's none of your business, get out of here sicky boy, before I kick your oxygen cart!"

Sungchan got mad at Beomgyu and pulled the flowers out from Ryujin's desk, and Beomgyu complained.

"Hey, put it back!"
