Moon as a mirror

Do you know the moon doesn't shine on its own?
It reflects the sun's light, or so we're told.
But I have a different belief.
I believe that the moon looks so beautiful
Because it reflects your face.

You see, the moon acts as a giant mirror.
So every time I look at the moon, I see you in it.
 I like to believe that right at that moment,
You're looking at the moon too.
So even though we're miles apart, we're seeing each other.
The moon acts like a portal that connects our hearts.
And maybe we're miles apart in the daytime,
But in the moonlight, we're never truly apart.
