If only you knew it. If only you knew how Engel exactly felt aftter Claire's... we all know what. It pushed you to the edge how no matter how much you comforted him, Engel didn't seem to look any better... well atleast to you. He felt a lot better under your supervision actually, your words brought him a sense of comfort and solace, and so did your touch, your hugs, your supportive hand on his shoulder. He thought it was how friendship worked, but no... Engel started to have romantic feelings towards you. He was to dense to realize it, his first thought was that he was just a hopeless person, confused and perplexed by Claire's death, but oh, the feelings were so real and delightful. His eyes were now filled with in-love amusement when he was with you, it was a giddy feeling overcoming his soul. He realized how his heart went soft on you, and how he kinda started to shine brighter in the terms of "happiness". But, just to avoid mishaps, he kept it to himself, locked up inside, never planing to free them. He was afraid to shoot the shot and get tottaly rejected for being so oblivious about love. Hell, he fell in love with Claire, just for her to be laying lifeless in front of his eyes on his last encounter. To help Engel out and keep the trauma away from him for a moment, you hosted a sleepover. It was definetly time for some quality and comforting time in such a situation. Consisting of talking and watching movies, to a failed attempt at making cookies at 1am, you both dozed of during Engel's favourite TV show. Your eyes blinked opem to an Engel asleep onto you, his hands losely wrapped around your waist as he lightly snored. He scooted closer, causing stars in your eyes to fade in. His exhausted body resting onto you seemed so peacefully adorable to you. "He's so... cute like this..." You said in your mind, blushing red in shock as you mentally slapped yourself back to reality. "What the hell, Y/N?! Snap out of it!" You scolded your thoughts, until you looked Engel again... his messy hair... his sleepy face... no, it was to much. "But he's so adorable..." You mumbled to youreself quietly, before carefully caressing his face and leaving a peck kiss on his forehead. Engel's eyes fluttered open, and you just froze, holding his face close up like that. His eyes immidately widened, and both of you shifted away from eachother, burning red on the face like Engel's feathers. "I-Im so sorry..." Engel was recomposing himself, but then started to smile gently. He had now been confirmed to that you liked him. He turned to you and turned your face to his. "It's okay, Y/N..." He lent in for a kiss, closing his eyes shut. Your thoughts exploded. Did Engel just kiss you back? on the lips even?! You gave in and carresed his face, pulling him back down on the bed as he giggled softly. "En..." You murmued out silently. Engel kept everything light for the first time. He pulled away, scanning your reaction to see if your face was rather satisfactory. "You're so adorable..." Engel spoke amusingly, flattering you. He then plopped himself onto you, while your hands snake up to him and pull him into a comfy, loving cuddle. "I lovr you alot..." You mumbled, Engel's smile grew wider. "Thank you for making me feel better after that, Y/N, I'm glad I still have you..." A tear ran down his face, that you of course wiped away. "Shhhhh, don't think about it now...." You carresed his face and stroked his hair, putting him to sleep as his chin rested on top of your chest.
