Chapter Two

After last week's concert and fun, it was time to get back into the grooves of things, I'm about to perform at this festival and debut a song I've been working on. I wear a bright, eccentric butterfly costume. I sit in the little room they gave me to get ready and take a few deep breaths.

Sadly Noah said he couldn't be here due to some scheduling issue but I should be okay, I take one more look at myself and decide to take a picture of the outfit and send it to him. I hit send and place my phone away before heading to the stage.

"Okay, and this next one is a new one I've been working on for a very long time, I wanna give some credit to one of my best friends" I smile as the crowd starts to cheer "Sadly Noah couldn't be here tonight but he's helped me so much with this song, and it even has a little dance to it."

I showed the crowd the dance and before we knew it we had the whole crowd doing it with us, As I was halfway through the song I happened to look over off to the side of the stage where usually family and friends are and saw a tall tattooed figure dancing with me. I screeched with excitement.

I jog over to the side and Noah quickly grabs my excited jittery body, he pulls me into him for a brief hug before I jog back to the center of the stage, "Thank you so much, everyone! I love you all and can't wait to see you tomorrow!" I scream into the mic as the crowd starts to cheer loudly.

I walk off and Noah grabs me by the waist lifting me almost over his shoulder, I laugh as he walks past the people who are staring wide-eyed and back to my private room. He places me down on my feet and I huff before smacking him on the arm.

"Ow, what was that for?" he chuckled holding his arm in fake pain "You said you couldn't be here today, what changed?" he plopped himself on the small couch, and his tattooed arm placed on the back of it, "You think I would miss something like this?" he smirks up at me, his eyes almost hazy.

I shake my head "Knowing you, definitely not" I take a seat and start to gather everything to take my makeup off and comfy before we leave. I feel his warmth as he moves closer to me, I look over and see he slid a chair over and now sits next to me, I laugh as he just stares at me "What?" I ask and rifle through my stuff. He shrugs "Nothing, I just love seeing the process".

I shrug and continue to take the rest of my makeup off, I sigh as I finally have nothing on my face besides moisturizer, Noah laughs and I turn to see him recording me, I stare at the phone with mock anger before laughing slightly "Stop being mean".

I've changed into my comfy clothes and we all decide to grab something to eat close by. As we sit down I look across where Jolly and Nick sat in front of me eating their slides of pizza and Noah sits next to me, I place my slice down "Okay, I have a big favor to ask" All three turn to look at me waiting for me to continue "I wanted to know if you guys wanted to be apart of the Hot to go music video?" I fiddle with my napkin as the guys look at each other before chuckling.

I sigh and continue to eat "screw all of you, you make me nervous" Noah wraps his arm around my shoulders pulling me in "You know we would do it, of course we will, right guys?" the other two nod their heads "yeah, I'm down," Nick says, Jolly nodding along in agreement. I clapped my hands together, excited about the video.

We finish eating before heading home for the night, well Jolly and Nick head home to the house they share with the rest of the band including Noah but he's been staying with me for the year. We stay up just to stream games together or we just lay in bed watching TikTok videos.
