Chloe's POV:
"CHLOE! THIS IS NOT CLEANING!" Miss Minchin yelled. I looked up and I was scared. I tried to go to my room but she stopped me. "WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING?!" She screamed. "I-i-i." I stuttered. She began hitting me and kept yelling at me. I cried and begged her to stop but she wouldn't. Then it all went black.
I scream and sit up. I cry because I'm scared of what Miss Minchin will do to me. I see the door open and I see someone in the doorway. "Chloe, what's wrong sweetheart?" I hear a woman ask. Then I realize that it's TayTay. I reach my arms out like a baby, signaling that I want to be held. TayTay comes over and holds me close. "Shhh. It's okay. I'm here. You're okay." TayTay said. Her voice is so calm and so sweet. It's like Miss Amelia's but not like Miss Minchin's. "You can talk to me, Chloe." TayTay said. I want to talk to her but, I'm quiet now since Miss Minchin always yelled at me for talking to Sara and the other girls. "I-i-i-h-h-had-a-s-s-scawy-d-d-dweam." I say. "Awww, sweetheart. Shhh. I'm here. It's okay. It's over." TayTay said. TayTay's understanding and I really love her. She lays me down and lays next to me. She starts singing and I fall asleep in her arms. I'm finally safe.
Taylor's POV:
I wake up to a piercing scream. It isn't Izzy. It isn't Harper and it's not Emma. Then I realize that it's Chloe. I immediately get out of bed and rush to Chloe's room. I open the door and see Chloe sitting in a ball and she's crying so much. "Chloe, what's wrong sweetheart?" I ask. She doesn't respond and I remember that she doesn't really talk. She puts her arms out, signaling she wants to be held. I go to her and hold her close to me. "Shhh. It's okay. I'm here." I say. "You can talk to me, Chloe." I say, trying to get her to talk to me. "I-i-i-h-h-had-a-s-s-scawy-d-dweam." She said. She mispronounced her R's since she's 4. "Awww, sweetheart. Shhh. I'm here. It's okay. It over." I say. I lay her down then I lay next to her as she falls into my arms. I start singing 'Never Grow Up' and she immediately falls asleep. I'm sleeping in her room so hopefully she can get sleep without another nightmare.
