February 14, 2016 5th grade year
ROB licked his lips while staring at the girl who was jump roping with her friends with a big wide smile on her face
he held the basketball in his hand while a smile appeared on his face slowly staring at his girl who jumped up with the wind blowing her curly hair back
"bro the ball?"
"pass the ball rob!"
he heard his friends yelling at him to pass the ball and snap out of his thoughts
rob smacked his teeth and bounce the ball towards his friend kiyan
kiyan then passed the ball to their friend mikey staring at rob confusedly
"are you alright?" mikey said
rob just nodded his head and walked over to the bench that was near the basketball court
he sat right down making his two friends also sit right next to him
the three eyed around the area seeing all the other fifth graders playing whatever while it was recess time
"can you guys believe is valentines day today bro" kiyan said
"fuck that" rob said
"i got lanae to be my Valentines" mikey said shrugging his shoulders
"where's her stuff then?" rob said
"I ain't get her shit" mikey chuckled
while the boys were chatting it up they seen three figures approach them
they slowly looked up seeing the familiar faces making them smack their teeth
"man what the fuck yall want" rob said looking at the three boys who always tried to act like bullies
Jojo, dre, and kaykay
"play us" jojo said
"we beat y'all asses like everytime" kiyan said waving the three off
"so now yall don't wanna play us?" kaykay said
the six boys stood there arguing which made other students appoarched them even the familiar face rob was looking at came closer to them with her friends
"man we always beat y'all!" rob said
"cool we don't care, play us" dre said
"no nigga!" rob said making all the kids around the ou and look at eachother
the girl looked at the altercation irritated cause she knew jojo went up to rob trying to start sum bullshit like he always did
"jojo why don't you just leave them alone" the girl spoke stepping closer to the two in the middle of the circle
