Ivan POV:
Where is Till.
Ivans eyes dart around the hospital room, the heartbeat monitor beeping out of control as Ivan gasps, trying to get out of the bed only to be stopped by Mizi who's desperately trying to hold him down.
"Ivan please calm down!" Mizi pleads, trying desperately to calm him down.
"Till... whe-where is-" Ivan cuts himself off as he gasps for more air, still trying to get up frantically, eyes wide, pupils small as he looks around the room again.
"Ivan please, I can get someone to get him but you need to-" Mizi gets cut off with the door slamming open, showing Till, shirt and hair messy as he wheezes, trying to catch his breath.
The effect was immediate on Ivan as he saw Till in that doorway. The heartbeat monitor slowed completely, his heart rate returning to normal as he finally relaxes back into the hospital bed, his pupils dilating more than normal as he stared at Till.
"...Ivan" Tills eyes lock with Ivans, making Ivans heart flutter. Till slowly walks over to Ivan's bed and stands by his side, staring down at him.
"I'll, uh... give you guys your space..." Mizi smiles awkwardly before speed walking out of the hospital room, closing the door with a soft click.
Silence filled the room, the only sound was the heartbeat monitor beating in a slow rhythm.
"Ivan.. I uh...", Till was at a loss of words at what to say to Ivan. All he's been able to think about since he got rescued was Ivan, and now that he was awake, he had no idea how to start a conversation with him.
Ivan slowly sat up in the bed with a grunt, looking at Till.
"Are you hurt at all? Are you ok?", Ivan asked with a look of worry present on his face.
Till POV
Till just stared at Ivan in disbelief, Ivan was asking if Till was ok, after he got fucking shot.
"Are you fucking mental?! You're asking if I'm ok?! Ivan, you got fucking shot" Till ranted before sitting down on the chair next to the bed.
"But are you hurt?" Ivan asks again, staring so intently at him that it makes Tills' insides feel like they are twisting. Weird.
Till just stares in disbelief at Ivan, He's actually lost it.
"Im fine Ivan, fuck, why are you so worried about me?" Till asks, not being able to understand why Ivan cares so much, but Ivan being so worried made his face flush slightly.
Ivan gives Till a smile that quickly turns into a smirk,"I wouldn't have risked my life for you during Round Six if I wasn't worried Till."
Till flushes a deeper shade of red, trying to come up with a response.
"I,uh, I just-uh" Till stumbles over his words, still unable to think properly.
Ivan just stares at Till, admiring his red complexion as he still stumbles over his words.
Till sighs accepting defeat in coming up with a response back.
"Whatever" Till mumbles, still red.
Ivan just chuckles at Till. Even after so many years, Till's expressions still make his day. The way that his hair sometimes hides his face when he's embarrassed, the way he fidgets with his fingers, and his skin that turns a bright red whenever he's embarrassed, all of these features make Ivans heart pound louder in his chest, making his body feel light as if he's staring at an angel.
He missed Till so much.
Till locks his eyes with Ivan, finally coming up with something to ask him.
"Why did you do it?" Till asks, staring dead at Ivan.
Ivan smiles and looks up at the ceiling, "I never valued my own life Till, not until I met you in the garden. You gave me a reason to live, I couldn't let them take you away from me or have you killed. And in that moment on the stage when it was just you and me..." Ivan cuts himself off to give Till a bittersweet smile,
"You finally looked at me, and that's all I needed to die happy."

Sorry for not updating in a bit, my mental health has been straight up dogshit so i've been trying to do things to make me happy :)
Writing this chapter was hard as I didn't know how to start it at all really
