I can't concentrate to continue writing from the previous chapter, at least not the moment after, damn it. I think it's a block, so I'll find myself needing to fast forward the timeline and then upload extras when I can about what happened here.

Therefore, these will be small fragments of what happened before the time jump in the next chapter.

Callisto honestly felt like a stroke of luck. He wanted to laugh. He could tell from the look on Penelope's face that she realized he wanted to laugh. 

"You and I look alike," Judith said, looking at him, her wings were spread carefree and she tilted her head from side to side. "Mom, Dad, look! We look alike!" Judith grabbed Cale's pants with her hand as  she whispered in a loud enough voice, "Are you like Grandpa Eruhaben?" This time I asked Callisto "You don't smell like him, you smell like.. normal."

"That's good?"

"Of course! Grandma Violan smells like a normal person, Uncle Basen, eh, Uncle Robbit! Although he's a little strong, I think you're a little stronger than him even. Who else? Mrs. Fressia!"

"So, the title of imperial princess-"

"That's off the table," Cale immediately rejected. "She has the title of ducal princess." Being his daughter in the records of the Henituse duchy, the title of ducal princess is on her like in Aeri, Ohn also had it although everyone referred to her as  the leader of the cat beastfolk tribe. "And she's a Henituse."

Cedric shifted uncomfortably in the meeting. 

"Well, she will be the crown princess of Eorka-"

"That has not been agreed upon."

Damn it, Cale Henituse was really stubborn.

Penelope had the misfortune of not meeting Sayeru. There simply was no video of him captured on a recording device. Therefore, she didn't really find it strange that a beast-person was walking around the palace. 

Of course, he didn't remember this person working in the palace, but it had been five years since he left, maybe a little longer. So she simply didn't pay attention to the servant who was walking towards the direction she came from in the palace. Today was an agreed visitation day and she brought her in while Robbit, bless her soul, took care of any visitation arrangements. 

So she just didn't pay attention to him, she kept walking with Aeri on one side and Judith on the other side of her sister, so that Penelope was the closest to Sayeru. 

When there were three meters left before they passed side by side, it was Judith who reacted first and let out her wings. Her pupils, which until a moment had been normal, shrank into a pair of elongated lines as a warning sign. 

"Black magic, mom!" 

"Damn it" The bear king transforms into a bear in a second, the guards at the entrance shout "Kill them all!" 

"Reinforcements! An attack on the palace!" 

"There are cultists! Cultists here!" 

"By the Goddess!" Panic shouts echoed around the palace walls.

Penelope's magical shield is launched just in time, surrounding her and her daughters, even as she is overcome by terrible nausea from the feeling of dead mana and black magic. Penelope's magical abilities improved after eating the root of the world tree, but she still had its limitations, especially if what attacked her were monsters created from a member of another world...
