Across the Universe

A/N: This is going to be Azura's experience only. I'm lazy sorry 

The alarms on the wolf blared as it fell to the atmosphere of a planet whilst it's owner screamed, trying to control the robotic animal. Unfortunately, before the wolf could go back online they crashed on the snowy planet. Azura let out a groan as she opened her eyes, her wolf was busted. The red lights were on and her screen became, showing a hazard sigh while it was static.   "Wake up girl" She tried to reconnect with her wolf but failed. A sigh left her lips before portaling out of her wolf and exited beside the wolf.  "Where are we?" Muttered Azura while taking in the horizon.   If one word could explain the planet it would be snow. Snow all around, covering the ground, mountains, trees. 

"She opened her A.I bot on her screen "Alby, where are we?" She asked. 

"Scanning the planet. Please hold" 

After a few seconds the information appeared on her screen that hovered above her wrist. 

"We are in Planet Dellian. A snow planet that has been deserted for over a million Years. It was home to Baxtons, creatures that were known for their calming presence even though they had large bodies. The cause of their extinction was never known."   Azura read. "Great, another deadly planet" Azura said as she removed her helmet, the cold wind immediately hitting her face. 

Suddenly, growling could be heard from the frosted trees, making her snap her to the sound as she summoned her flaming sword. Suddenly, a creature flew over the trees "I'm guessing you were the cause of their extinction" She muttered. The creature was pure white, with large red eyes and sharp pupils, it looked to be around thirty feet.  It's head was larger than the body itself, the teeth were long and sharp, with what looked like crown spikers over it's head. 

The creature averted it's eyes on the wolf, before suddenly diving towards it and grabbing it with it's mouth. "No!" Screamed Azura as she attacked it with her magic but the creature dogged it and flew away. 

Azura watched as the creature flew away with her wolf. "Alby, what is that thing!?" 

"That is a skrill, some consider it as a dragon. It lives off cold temperatures, and lives under ground. No weaknesses could be found in the creature" 

"Great, just great. A vicious, killing monster just took my wolf and will probably tear it apart!" She groaned. "I can't do this right now" Azura sat down onto the snow with her hands over head, while her helmet  laid on the ground beside her with the sword. 

"Azura" The pale goddess opened her eyes, she recognized that voice anywhere. She slowly lifted her head  and the sight left her speechless "Mother?" Stood in front of her was her mother. At least, her soul was. She was wearing her dress, the dress she wore as they tried to take down Zarkon. She looked so at peace. 

Azura stood up as tears began to slowly stream down her face. "H-How?" Her mom didn't answer but only kept on smiling. "You've been to so much my dear baby" 

"How are you here? Why are you here?" 

"I'm here because you summoned me. Azura, Goddess of life and death" There it was. The Goddess Title. Their mother was always the wise one, when their grandmother died she cried for hours on her mother's chest. "I can't do it...I'm so tired of everything, I fought Zarkon, I retrieved my wolf, I helped Voltron, and gave a planet back it's life....I'm so tired" She said as she cried. Thou she couldn't hold her, letting her listen was better than nothing, her being here was better than nothing.

"And yet here you are, standing. You've faced so much but you're still standing, you know why? Because of the people around you, They helped you as much as you've helped them. And I've never been proud of you more, I've watch you even when you were asleep for ten thousand years. You tried and tried, believing there was still hope to defeat Zarkon. And by believing, you've met so much wonderful people, you felt love for the first time. You can't just give up now my sweet warrior, Voltron needs you. The Paladin's , Allura, and Coran need you. Your wolf needs you Azura"

"How can I find my wolf when I don't know a thing about the Skrill" 

"You'll find a way. You always have" Her mother reassured.

"Stay with me?" Azura asked "We never left, sweetie" Azura looked confused "We?" Azura turned around to see her grandmother. "Grandma!" She smiled. "Hello my little rose, How've you been?" 

"Tired, Confused, Happy, Angry" Azura chuckled "You can do it.  I know you can" Her grandmother placed her hand on top of her chest. "How?" 

"Like your mother said, You'll find a way. Just like how you found a way to control your magic, how you found a way to hide in places I didn't even think when you were younger." Azura slightly laughed "Just like how you managed to make your own wolf from scratch and hide it from us" 

"You've always been the one to say that you would never give up" Azura turned her head to see Diego, her trainer. "Why the sudden change of heart?"  "Diego.." She walked towards him before kneeling down. This is an act a student does when they have failed their mentor. "I'm sorry, I pushed your training away. I've failed you" Diego placed his hand on her shoulder. "You never failed me. Remember what I would always say?" Azura looked up "The greatest victory whispers 'I'll try again' after they've stumbled the most" The two said in union. 

"Now, make me proud  little Terminator, get that wolf back and find your friends" Azura stood up "Thank you, all of you" They all nodded before fading away. Azura quickly put her helmet back on. 

"Alby, what did you say about the Skrill? Where does it live?" 

"The Skrill is a warm blooded animal. It lives deep underground." 

"Warm blooded you say. Can you scan the planet for any large heat signatures?" 

"Scanning Now. There is a large amount of heat coming from a mile underground. There is a large whole somewhere in the forest, where the Skrill exited from earlier" 

'Alright, time to get my wolf back" Azura ran to the forest, dogging trees and branches when a baby White Coyote suddenly began running beside her, when she finally noticed she stopped running and so did the animal. 

"We're you, following me?" The Coyote just tilted her head and sat down beside her "You're adorable! Tell you what? You want to come with me?" The Coyote  barked before standing up and wagging it's his tail. The coyote let out a  bark when sound waves suddenly appeared towards the direction he barked. 

"Woah.."

And just a few moments later a light sound of something hitting metal could be heard "You can sense sound!?" Azura smiled down. "Look's like I'm keeping you" She stroke the coyote's head as he leaned into her touch "You need a name. How about Echo?" The coyote barked "Echo it is then"  Azura smiled once more at her new pet before Echo began to walk to the direction he barked at. 

"Alright, let's go" Echo ran forward with Azura behind him. Soon, the two stopped at the edge of a large hole "This is the entrance" She said while looking down into the deep large hole. She carried the pup in her arms, and made a board using her magic before sliding down  the hole. Not even twenty feet in, it was already pitch black. Azura quickly used her suits flashlight and looked around. "How could the Skrill dig a hole this big without any claws?" She asked. Soon enough they hit the bottom. 

The flashlight in her suit was large enough to light up a few feet around them. "Alright Echo, which way next?" Azura put Artic down and Artic let out a bark left and right. A few moments passed before Echo barked at Azura "Lead the way" 

Azura followed Echo as he turned to their right, the sound of something hitting metal became louder and louder, Azura could also hear water, not dripping water. It sounded like a waterfall. 

"Maybe that could be our way out of here" She muttered to herself while she continued to follow Artic until he stopped. Just thirty feet or so away from them was a large cavern, and in that cavern was the Skrill, some gold, and the golden wolf. "This guy like's gold, I see" The Skrill was dragging the wolf to the pile of gold. Azura tried to reconnect with her wolf, few seconds later the wolf's eyes glowed. "Gotcha" The wolf stood up, startling the Skrill. The Skrill let out a roar when it saw Azura and the pup. Azura looked at the Skrill, noticing that It had scars all over it's body. The gold wolf ran to Azura, before stopping in front of her and bowing, frightening the pup. 

The Pale goddess looked behind them to see that the Skrill was gone. "Let's get out of here" On cue, the wolf opened it's mouth, allowing Azura to enter the cockpit followed by Artic. Once she was in her seat, she quickly made a portal to the surface. They exited the portal and we went to a mountain before I exited my wolf, Echo following beside me. 

Azura sat back down on the snow, just resting, her helmet laid on the ground once more. Echo began playing in the snow, jumping around and diving down, leaving show on his back and head. She  chuckled at the sight. Suddenly, a howl was hear from behind them. Azura snapped her head back to see a pack of Coyotes. Echo stepped forward and let out a bark. The Coyote in front looked at Echo then to Azura before bowing it's head and letting out a howl, followed by the other's. Azura was mesmerized by the scene. That was when she noticed that Echo was the only white coyote, a few tint's of light brown on his lower body but he was the only white one. 

The coyote leader was the first to leave, followed by the others. Echo went back to Azura, who knelt down and caressed his head. Suddenly, a blue glow was seen in the sky, catching Azura's attention. Not a moment later, a wormhole appeared and exited it was the castle of lions and the lions itself. 

"Azura? Azura? Do you copy?" Coran asked through the communicator. "Copy, Coran" 

She watched as the Castle and the lions all landed on the snow, the first out of the warm shelter was Pidge, who ran towards her and giving her a hug. "How'd you guys find me!?" Azura asked as she hugged Pidge back. "It was all Pidge" Keith said as the rest of the Paladins walked up towards me. I gave Keith a light hug before hugging the others. 

"Well. are you guys alright?" I asked "We are now" Just then, Echo let out a bark, making the others stare down. "Aww, you made a friend here?" Hunk said.

"A coyote friend" Lance stated. 

"Paladins, meet Echo. I'll tell you all about her when we get inside" I smiled as I picked Echo up. "Yeah, Can we go inside now!? I don't know how you managed to deal with the cold!" We all look at Lance who was shivering. "Lance's right Azura. The air Temperature here is -89.2 degrees Celsius and surface level is -92 Celsius. We might need to run some tests on you later" Coran said through the intercom. "I don't feel that cold but sure. Let's all put the Lions and wolf to the hangars" 

We all headed back into our metal animals before placing them into the Hangars, I placed mine beside The green lion.
