Dazzle bursts out the door in panic. She was hard to understand through all the sobbing she was making."MR. SOLAR!!! THE MINI JACKS ARE *sniff* B-BURNING DOWN THE *sob* ARTS AND CRAFTS STOOORRREE!!! ŤOŤ"
Ruin flinches at the sight of Dazzle. "Um...Solar? Who is that?"
Solar runs past Ruin heading towards the Gift Shop. "No time to explain."
He goes through the doors and turns to see the Gift Shop filled with smoke.
"Oh for goodness sake! Jack I told you to take care of them!"
Jack was trying to put out the fire while also trying to organize them into a line.
"I am SorRy FaTheR. I tried but they weren't and aren't listening to my CoMmAnDs."
Solar tried to grab a Jackling from the air. "JACKS STOP RIGHT NOW!"
They all stopped and turned to Solar.
"no"
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN NO??"
Ruin stood behind Solar observing the chaos. He startled Solar, who wasn't aware Ruin was next to him, when he spoke. "Let me try." Ruin walked over to the Jacks, without waiting for a reply. "Why hello there, my name is Ruin and I am guessing you all are Jacks." The Jacks stopped again and faced Ruin. "If you silly billies stop burning down the Gift Shop, I will offer you anything you desire."
One little Jack flew up and down. "ŴØŘŁĎ ÐÒMÏŃÂȚÌŐŇ! 😈🔥👹"
"Umm...no. How about something more...realistic and non-destructive."
Another Jackling flew up and down as well. "How about...ice-cream?"
As soon as the Jackling said that all the Jacks began to murmur among each other in excitement.
"Hmm...yes. I suppose that's doable." Ruin said. He turned to Solar. "Is it alright if they have ice-cream, Solar? I need your permission, after all, you are their parent."
Solar was still a little confused on what just happened. Maybe he was making a big deal about the situation. Ruin did just stop a bunch of Jack clones with the programming of destroying everything in their paths by offering them ice-cream. Now that he thought about it thoroughly. Nope he definitely was right to be confused.
"Um...sure?" Solar wasn't really sure if it was good idea to give the chaotic gremlins ice-cream, but as long as it means they stay out of destruction.
Ruin clapped their hands together. "Righty-ho! Follow me children. I shall give you the ice-cream you asked for!" All the Jacklings started a line trailing after Ruin. As Ruin skipped by Solar, he gave him a little wink. Probably, trying to tell him that he's doing Solar a favor so he can get something out of it afterwards, like his forgiveness or whatever his sick, sociopathic mind wants.
Solar went over to the Gift Shop to put out the flames. He couldn't see Dazzle or Jack anywhere so he figured they went on ahead and followed Ruin.
Ruin. Hmm...something about that feels off. What was it? Was it the wink? Is he feeling...nope he can't possibly...
God he hated Ruin.
