"Get off me, you damn monkey!" Yami yelled, pushing Ryosuke onto Taro.

"Well, there's no space on the couch! Couldn't you buy a bigger one?! You know there's four of us!" Ryosuke argued as Yami kept pushing his cheek away, making a face at the stubble poking her palm.

"My fucking bad. I didn't know your fat ass would take all the space! And shave your damn face, your stubble is so ugly."

"Taro and Nori are also sitting here. You're not yelling at them! Also, a chick at the bar told me my stubble is nice, so fuck you."

"She just wanted your dick." Yami deadpanned.

"At least I'm getting laid." Ryosuke smirked triumphantly, "Oh, wait, I know why you're always so pissed off."

"These two..." Taro sighed, running a hand down his face. Nori gave Taro a shrug and glanced at the two bickering beside him, invested in the argument.

"Yeah, it's because of you." Yami scoffed.

"It's because you haven't been laid in a while." Ryosuke pointed out.

"Ryosuke shut the fuck up." Yami hissed, rubbing her temples.

"You're wrong, Ryo." Nori butted in, "Don't forget mister burnt nugget. I bet he-"

"That's it!" Yami threw a cushion at Nori's face, ears steaming red. Nori chuckled, peeking from behind the cushion, "Seriously though, what's up with you two?"

"Yami has a boyfie~" Ryosuke cooed.

"That's enough, Nori, Ryo," Taro warned. Yami huffed and looked away, stomach swarming with butterflies. She felt like a silly high school girl.

"It's not like that." Yami muttered, "I honestly don't know where I stand with him."

"What do you mean?" Nori asked.

"I don't wanna talk about it," Yami grumbled. Nori hummed, leaving her to her thoughts.

Ryosuke smacked a hand on her head and shook it with a grin, "Just remember, it's alright for us to love and be loved. I know it's difficult to accept that after all we've done, but at the end of the day, we're humans, too, even if society sees us as monsters. After all, it's their fault they neglect children, abuse them, try to use them for power and then complain when they raise villains."

Yami stared at Ryosuke as he shook her head gently with a grin. She glanced at the rest of them, smiling at her softly. Yami's throat tightened, and she looked away, stifling a smile. Her stupid brothers were going to be the death of her.

At last, the assassins settled down, and Nori put on a movie, which Yami ignored when she received a text from someone who never texted unless you texted him first. Toya. Without a second thought, she clicked on the notification to see him complain.
