Author's Rants...
Okay ,I begin with the beginning, around May 2023 I asked for suggestions from my readers that I have 3 ongoing books and my personal life is going through a lot...yet my mind came up with Historical fiction should I give it a try
I received many no so I let go of that idea......again in mid-August and September this again came up.....The very same scene you see in the first chapter is the only scene I had in my mind that's it...
I updated that chapter in Droplets...I have no other idea how it's going to be etc...So in between two to Three days, I decided to make it a book and updated the very same chapter as first chapter..
If you asked I had all this in mind how this story going to travel........My answer is No....its a slow process and I developed from scarch.....
2 months back this was a long book with multiple couple story there is the Trio, Rathnama and Udaiyaar , then Kuyili and Imaiyazhan....but see how it ended..
if you asked me how this book going to end 4 months back my answer would be like.....The same in the epilogue you would meet Raghavi which is constant thought from the beginning...
but at that time My thoughts were like the story ends with Raghavi and her husband naming their Daughter "Udaiyaal"
There was many different thoughts raised but showing Raghavi at the end was constant....as she was the on who would introduced us to Rathnama it won't be nice to say goodbye without her...
Let's not again go there why I lost interest and all....
Writing this story was kind of tough and demands lot of time and energy........I can't bluntly write a single dialogue......Everything need reconsideration and deep thoughts....
Mainly writing Udaiyaar and Ellalar was the toughest to crack for me......Writing male characters was always been challenging one.....writing a dominant and misogynistic male character needs no training have a plenty of references in wattpad.....but that's not what I am trying to achieve here.....neither I want the men to be weak character too...
I actually faced this first with Aadhithya in "Uyir", then Jayadev from "Moogathirai"
In this case, the father and son duo tested me thoroughly. Both possess strong characters, yet they are the ones who have been hurt significantly.......
I don't want them sound like any normal usual King characters do in the stories in wattpad mostly.....
They aren't oppressive and toxic neither they Fall in their ladies feet.......
It's really tough to think and write Udaiyaar's dialogues.....I have to keep all this in mind while typing them..........
For my other contemporarily romance books I don't have to think this much and get exhausted just by thinking.....
In that way I completed my most challenging story so far........
okay lets move to the Questions asked by the readers:
1) Chapter 46: That's very simple....even if valliyammai came back alive she won't sit in the throne as Rathnama is the Emperess now.......Her "I will come back to you " means in the form of his Daughter..........at that time Udaiyaar have to make sure she doesn't fears the Throne...
2) Did Ellalar realized his love?: Its complicated one.....there was surely a guilt that he thinks he spoiled Valli's life.....In her perspective she wouldn't be happy if she married someone else when the only person she loved was him..........His guilt grew even more when he realized that Valliyammai loved him......He might have feel love after her death only He knows.......but the guilt remained with him till his death..
3)Kuyili and Imaiyazhan's story: In chapter 48 Udaiyaar complains that Rathnama have time to think about Imaiyazhan's marriage but not him....
That was a hint that Rathnama already started shipping the sail of Imaiyazhan and Kuyili's love story...........if we get a short book of them we will get to see what happens with them..
Maadhangi and Vikramasimman's book: May be possible..
1) how Rathnama got the boon of rebirth?: okay there is two answers for it
In past life Rathnama completed 3 years of Yamaparithi Poojai so she got three chances to rewrite her story...
another answer is Both men who loved Rathnama and Madhangi..
Yes Along with Rathnama Madhangi also reborn because of incomplete love story of Udaiyaar and Vikramasimman
2) Magaiyarkarasi's acts: valliyammai mentioned Magaiyarkarasi wasn't even untill she get to sit on the throne and gets the taste of power and authority..
if you see this story is about the women's characters and what they choose..
Mangaiyarkarasi choose Power and authority over anything
Alarmelu choose Responsibility over love
valliyammai choose the Love over Revenge..
Madangi choose Revenge over love in the past
Rathnama choose her hesitation over love in the past.....
Their acts are refection of what they chosen..
1) Yes Madhangi was the one who behind all the events in the past...
Rathnama's step sister Velvizhi is just the scape goat............When Madhangi decided Velzhi's work was done (i.e) Poisoning Rathnama and killing her child....Madhangi exposed Velvzhi and finnally the scape goat died in the hands of Rathnama..
She could have choosed anyone else even she could have done it by herself as she know the secret way to enter the palace.....yet she choosed Velvizhi to make the betrayal hurt Rathnama more than anything else.......
Now Madhangi is not going to be that evil person is Rathnama's life....velvizhi is useless dummy which have no use.......
