A/N: This isz satire, please don't take this seriously 😭 ‼️ (Warning: I hadn't fully proofread this, so I’m very sorry about the grammatical errors 🙏🏻)

People used to see love as a sincere bond that unites two people in an indescribable way. It was considered a sacred connection, needing only God's blessing.

People used to describe love as a feeling that transcends everything—enchanting, angelic, dreamlike. It's like the sensation you get when a gust of wind flows towards you with the smell of flowers.

Many people would call me intelligent, those closest to me would say I'm dumb—dumb for love. I believed you had a more favourable opinion of me and that you would pursue me further. "Hindi naman tayo ah, Ba't ka nagseselos?" you said. Were the things you did and said, was it all casual?

I knew I wasn't anything close to special, but you made me feel like it — only to be thrown away the second someone comes in. Why would you treat me like one when you're just gonna throw me away at once?

I. Was It Casual? (When We Would Talk Until Midnight?)

It's been 2 years since Alice was proven innocent from the accusations, Risa and her became friends—they found themselves getting closer to each other as time passes.

"Tapos nahulog yung wallet ko sa kanal, nakakahiya may nakakita huhu!" Patawang kuwento ni Alice, while Risa was staring and listening to her stories.

They were sitting close to the coast—it was already late. The gentle murmurs of the waves caressed them, creating a tune of the passing of time and the embrace of the night.

"Kinuha mo ba sa kanal ang wallet mo?" Risa asked through fits of laughter.

"Syempre, hindi. Baka iba pa makuha ko sa kanal." Alice smiled at her, until a ringtone was heard—It was Alice's phone.

"Bakit ganyan itsura mo? May problema ba?" Risa looked at her worriedly after seeing her frown.

"2am na pala.."

"What's wrong?" Now Risa was the one who's frowning, alice was giving her a look that she can't read,

"Wala.. Hindi ka pa ba babalik sa bahay mo? Baka nag-aalala na ang mga anak mo."

"Huwag kang mag-alala. Alam nilang hindi ako makakapunta ng bahay,"

"..."

"As long as na kasama kita, then hindi pa ako uuwi."

"And sometimes you love a person, just because they feel like home" - Bridget Jones's Diary, 2001.

II. Was It Casual (Whenever I Had A Cold, You Would Always Drop Everything And Come Take Care Of Me?)

"Sinabi ni Ate Gie na may sakit ka raw, bakit hindi mo sinabi sa 'kin?" Risa scolded her, while peeling oranges. It looks like a child was being scolded by her mother because she was being stubborn.

"Busy ka eh, alam kong matagal-tagal ang event na pupuntahan mo. Baka maging istorbo lang ako sa 'yo" Alice told her, just by the sound of her voice—halatang may sakit siya.

"Look, you are never a disturbance to me. Okay?" Risa finally looked at her, It was clear that she was worried

"Per—"

"Pinag-usapan na natin 'to, Alice. Hindi mo na ba maalala?" Naputol ang sinabi ni Alice dahil kay Risa.

"hindi ko alam kung matatakot ba ako o tatawa, eh." Alice chuckled, and that made Risa smile.
