Writer's Note:  It's been a long time I'm sorry. I had some extreme personal things that changed my life. I am here now, and I will try to be more consistent with updates. :)

Tuesday was already here and Evelyn was excited. A part of her wanted to go home, forget the life she'd lived down here and move on. The other part wanted to stay down here permanently, live a life that always involved Eric.

She knew that if she were to leave, not all of her would go back home. Her mind, her interests, a good portion of her would be stuck in Tennessee with Eric. Maybe it always would.

For it to have only been such a small amount of time, Evelyn felt as if Eric had always been there. The company that they presented to one another and the connection was overwhelming. Anyone else would think they'd know each other for their whole lives.

But it begs the question, 'How do you fall so hard for someone you've known not even a fraction of your life?'. Evelyn wouldn't say she was in love at all. Though, the sweaty palms and butterflies were confusing.

Aaron had already made his way out of the bed. Evelyn stood to her feet and made her way down the hallway. Everyone was in the kitchen talking; things to do, what they've been doing in life, Eric taking a few more days off of work since they were staying longer.

Wait. What?

Evelyn's eyes fling up to the trio, walking closer to get a better hearing.

"Hey baby, I was just telling them that we may stay a little longer if work can let me keep you a few more days." Aaron smiled. He was in a happier mood than she'd seen him in a while.

Of course, after last night she wouldn't expect anything less from the man. It seemed as if the three of them had been at least somewhat satisfied. Even Eric, who watches her above the brim of his coffee mug.

"Uh- Well, I'd have to call work to see if they'd let me off for a few days." She says, finding a seat next to Aaron at the table.

"Well, Evelyn honey it's okay if you can't!" Kathy says, a smile stretching wide. "Aaron already got approved for a few more days so I know he can stay, but if you have to go home we understand."

This bitch.

It was obvious what the woman wanted, to Evelyn at least. I'm sure to the boys, especially Aaron, it seemed an innocent comment. She knew better, maybe Eric did too. However, the only thing she was certain of was she wouldn't be heading back home just yet.

"No! Not at all. My manager is very understanding so I won't have a bit of trouble getting off work!" Evelyn locked eyes with the elderly woman, portraying the softest and sweetest of smiles.

Aaron smiles, obviously happy at the news. As much of a 'I need no one' man he was, he sure did enjoy being around her a whole lot. She looks up to see Eric staring, paying no mind to the woman by his side.

"Well, that's great Evelyn." Eric says, crossing his hands over the table. "Gives Kathy and I more time to get to know you."

He didn't give a fuck about Kathy getting to know her and neither did she. What he did care about was having more time with her. Evelyn didn't mind it, she wanted it too. But as she sat besides Aaron, who consistently had been rubbing a hand over her back, it did make her sad.

At some point, she'd have to stop things with Eric. In her heart, she knew that. A man much her senior had no business beginning a relationship, but neither did she. That's how the world would view it too.
