MATT's POV
Hi! I am Matteah Leabres, my family and friends call me "Matt". I am currently a Civil Engineering freshmen student here in DLSU and 18 years old. I just trasnferred here Last week because my mom wants me to do so.
I belong to Leabres family, a Family that owns the biggest construction Engineering Company. My lolo is one of the most known influencial and best Engineer in the country and even internationally. My father is titled as the youngest CEO/Engineer during his timeline.
While my Aunt, Auntie Lara is one of the highest paid architect here in the Philippines. That is why I'm taking BSCE as my course. Even tho we're still young and dumb, our future we're already written by our family generations.
I was raised in America and my parents decided to move back here in the Philippines a month ago. So basically, it is my first time being here again after a long 17 yrs. Today is my first day of college. I am nervous and I can't help to think about what life can lead to me.
Luckily I am enrolled in my cousins' school. It feels nice that I have someone who'll accompany me during my first day. While I was busy preparing my clothes and things, someone barged into my room squeaking and running excitedly towards me "OH MY GOSH!! Ate Matt you're here na! I miss you big time!" I almost lost my balance because she also jump to hug me.
"Oh God! You almost break my eardrums, Sab" i said with annoyance and joy, I can't help to smile too 'cause I missed this kid. "I'm sorry, I just got excited kasi. It's been 5 yrs since I last saw you eh!" Yeah right, they moved here 5 years ago from America too because lolo needs auntie Lara in our Company.
"Oh right! Ate Matt, ate told me to come up here because we'll come to school together" Sab happily talked to me. "Okay, where's Cali?" I asked in respond. "She's downstairs, kumakain na" she replied while smilling at me and I smiled back a little.
While we are talking about how's life in America since they left, someone shouted. It was Cali of course. "Sab!!! Napakatagal mo naman bumaba, pag ako nalate talaga piskit!" Napindot nanaman ata si anger. "Sab let's go na, let's catch up later" and she obligued to go downstairs.
IN THE DINING TABLE
"Hey bro! Long time no see ah!?" Cali welcome me with warm smile and hug me. "Yeah, and you still seem to be masungit parin" i joked and laugh. "Bro first day mo ngayon, ayoko naman na mala- ay piskit ka man ron! 7:15 na dali tara na".
I didn't get the chance to eat my breakfast, and towards the car waiting outside. "Wth, why its so maaga ang pasok here in the Philippines huhuhuhu" I said to myself.
We have arrived at the campus minutes later, hindi naman siya ganon kalayuan mula sa bahay. Me and Cali are blockmates while Sab is in her grade 12. The corridors are empty maybe because students have gotten to their respective classrooms na, late na talaga kami.
Suddenly, a woman bumped into me and drop her belongings. I stopped to help her "Oh shuxxx!!! Unsa mani Oi!(ano ba yan) Late na nga ako oh piskit!" She said irritatedly, she seems masungit but when I'm picking up her books i get a chance to take a closer look to her face. She's damn gorgeous.
I was taken back to my senses when Cali smack the back of my head "huy tara na, we're really late na!"
We run and we're about to enter the room when the teacher speaks. "First day na first day, late kayo agad? Be responsible about your time management. College na kayo, hindi High School" I don't know how to react or what to respond about it then Cali speak "We're so sorry, ma'am. Kumain po kasi kami ng breakfast kaya kami nalate. Kayo po, kumain na po ba kayo?"
I'm shocked about what Cali said and the teacher may seem to softened because of Cali's Charisma. "Take a seat, this will be a warning" ma'am Lauren said.
As I was about to enter the room, I saw a familliar face. It was her, the girl na masungit who speaks alien language. I quickly walked towards the vacant seat beside her and asked. "Are you taken?"
