CH 69 - SEE YOU AGAIN

When Phuwin returned to the room, he saw him lying still with his eyes closed, not knowing if he was asleep or not. He walked closer to him, raised his hand to touch his forehead to check his body temperature, it was better than before but not much better. He pulled the blanket over him, the air conditioner was a bit cold, looking at the clock it was almost 11pm, there was an hour left for him to return home before his illness appeared. Phuwin, after pulling the blanket, turned around and his wrist was suddenly tightly held by him. Pond was still in a daze, he didn't seem to know what he was doing right now, only he was holding his hands so tightly that he couldn't remove them.

Phuwin finally had to pull out a chair and sit next to him, probably waiting for him to fall asleep before removing his hand. Pond moved to hold his hand, his five fingers slid into his hand and held tightly, Phuwin just sat still and looked at him. I don't know how much time passed, Phuwin fell asleep again and laid his head down on the bed. With their hands still clasped together, Phuwin spent a night losing his sight with Pond, one lying in bed with a high fever, the other sleeping next to him.

The next day, when Phuwin opened his eyes, he saw that he was already lying on the bed, even neatly covered with a blanket. Looking around the room, Pond was no longer here, strangely, he was sick, where could he go? Phuwin threw the blanket aside, got out of bed and looked to see where he was but couldn't find him. The noise coming from the bathroom caught his attention, so he must have been in there. Phuwin stood waiting and saw that he had just finished showering

"Are you crazy, you have a fever and still showering early in the morning?"

Pond has the habit of taking a shower every time he wakes up, but this time he had a fever. Phuwin was wondering if he knew he was sick or not. He scolded him softly and walked past him to go to the bathroom.  Pond didn't say anything, his body was better now, although still hot but not as clueless as yesterday. Just now when Phuwin scolded him, he must have been a bit bewildered because he suddenly yelled at him. Pond was a little happy in his heart, so maybe Phuwin still cared. Last night he woke up and saw Phuwin sitting on the floor and lying next to the bed, probably because he was holding his hand tightly, and he must have tried to find it. Get up and carry him to bed. Pond then tried to move to the side of the bed, probably afraid that he would infect him.

Back to reality, Phuwin was in the bathroom, and Pond started looking for clothes to change into. Despite his fever, he still wanted to go to work. Waiting for him to get out of the bathroom, he spoke

" Phuwin, let me take you to work"

"No need, my car is outside"

Phuwin walked past him, opened the door and walked downstairs. Yesterday I didn't understand why I drove to take care of him, I was really crazy. Stepping out of the room, he suddenly remembered something so he turned around, ran to open the drawer and gave him the medicine bag.

"After eating this, drink it later, don't ask me to come take care of you again."

After Phuwin finished speaking, he turned away. Pond took the medicine package that Phuwin gave him. He stood there for a long time, then smiled slightly and happily. On the outside, being so distant but caring for him in this way, how should he think about his feelings towards him?

Phuwin drove back home early in the morning and hurriedly ran to his room because if he didn't hurry, he would be late for work. Running quickly to the company, Phuwin did not expect that he almost bumped into someone. The person's belongings fell to the ground, Phuwin quickly got out of the car to pick them up to help

"Sorry, are you okay? It's because I drove fast."

Phuwin picked up his things and frantically apologized

"It's okay, you're not hurt."

The two looked up at each other

"Is that the boy who helped me carry your things the other day?"

Phuwin was surprised. He looked closely at the person in front of him, trying to remember where he had seen her before.

"Is it you? I didn't expect to see you here."

Phuwin remembered, it was probably fate that the two of them met, the person in front of them was Pond's mother, of course Phuwin never knew about this. He smiled and stood up, politely giving the things back to Pond's mother

"Where are you going with so much stuff?"

Phuwin asked, it seemed Pond's mother went to the supermarket this morning

"Oh, I bought this to cook for my son. Today I cooked him lunch before I returned abroad."

Pond's mother looked at the pile of food she bought and answered Phuwin. He also nodded and understood

"Do you want to come eat with me? I want to thank you for your help."

Pond's mother suggested that Phuwin was very pleasing to her eyes, both gentle and polite, she wanted to invite him home for a meal to meet her son. She did not know that his beloved son and Phuwin had met each other until their faces were calloused, nor did she know what mistakes his son had made to the person in front of him. When Phuwin heard Pond's mother's offer, he was very shy and he quickly refused

"No, auntie, I'm busy this afternoon. I have to go now, otherwise I'll be late for work. If I have a chance to see you next time, I'll go eat with you."

Phuwin bowed politely, then got in the car and drove quickly to the company. Pond still didn't come to bother him today, because he didn't come until noon, so he felt at peace for a day.

Pond and Gemini are at the main house, their mother forced them to go home to eat, because she is going abroad tonight. There's nothing besides the fact that she knows Gemini has a lover but Pond doesn't have one yet. Besides, Pond is seven years older than Gemini. If s
he didn't marry him, she would complain every day.

"Pond, when are you going to find a bride for me, hm?"

"Gemini got it for mom"

"He's still young, I want you to find him and get married. Today i saw that boy again in the morning. Unfortunately, I can't invite him to dinner."

"What boy?"

Pond wondered, why did he remember his mother mentioning the person who helped his mother?

"That gentle boy who helped your mother carry things when he first returned home. He, learn to remember other people's words, always only remembers himself."

Pond's mother scolded him lightly

"Next time I see that boy again, I will definitely take him to meet you."

She talked while eating. When Pond heard this, his face wrinkled in discomfort. Suddenly his mother wanted to bring a stranger she had only met twice to meet him. What was wrong with his mother, it was beyond words.

"Mom, please give up that idea, I already have someone to pursue."
