Percy's POV
I was almost absolutely sure that no matter how hard we looked we would never be able to find the chosen one. At least one demigod had been placed at each high school in America.
The chosen one was just a myth that demigods told them selfs to make them feel better about the war.
There was no such thing as the chosen one.
Every one seemed to think otherwise.
I never thought I could be wrong.
I never thought the chosen one was actually real.
Believing was never easy for me.
When I was called to Chiron's office along with some of the other scouts placed at this high school to search for the chosen one I sighed. Great I thought there's another new student we have to pester until we figure out there not the chosen one. I stood out side Chiron's door feeling really awkward next to people that actually believed in the chosen one.
Chiron opened his door. "Ah come in." He said. " I have called you all here to tell you about a new student that will be joining this school soon. Her name is Annabeth Chase."
"Do you think she's the chosen one?" Piper asked,
Chiron replied solemnly, "Yes."
