HIS DOUBT

After I had lunch with that mysterious girl a few hours ago, I went straight to my office. I told my secretary to not let anyone in, except for Luke.

Papasok palang ako ng elevator, agad ko na siyang tinawagan, not telling him why. Gusto ko personal niyang malaman ang pakay ko at bakit gustong-gusto ko siyang makausap ngayon. I need to tell him what just happened.

Hindi pa'ko tapos sa pag munimuni ng dumating na siya, with his annoyed face.

He just opened the door without knocking and went straight to my chair and even put his feet on my desk, feeling like his the king of my office.

But I didn't mind him. Gulong-gulo pa rin ang isipan ko. Dumating na nga siya pero di pa rin kami nakakapag-usap. This is a literal shit.

"Dude!.. kanina kapa ikot ng ikot jan. Nahihilo na'ko sa'yo", he shouted annoyingly.

I faced him and he immediately stood up from his seat and approach me.

"Pare, 'di ko alam kung saan ko uumpisahan e", malumanay kong sabi.

"So nonsense lang pala pagpunta ko dito? Dude, kung nami-miss mo na'ko dapat sinasalubong mo'ko ng yakap at kiss Hahaha", he laughed.

Tumigil naman siya ng naramdaman niyang hindi ako natatawa.

I looked away and turned my back on him.

"I think I saw her..."

I heared him chuckled. "Dude, you're crazy Hahaha. You're not even drun- What do you mean?", he stopped when he realized what I just said.

"Sino?? Si Cristel ba?", he asked out of curiosity.

"How I wish... but no", I replied. "Pero kamukhang kamukha niya si Cristel, Luke. It's like she's really infront of me".

"Baka naman namamalik-mata ka lang, Pare... Seven people lang ang kamukha natin sa buong mundo, and we only have 1% chance of meeting them. Kaya imposible 'yang sinasabi mo", he stated.

"What if I tell you na hindi lang ako basta-basta namamalik-mata?", I seriously asked.

"Sus, paranoid ka lang yata or di kaya kulang ka sa tulog", pairap niyang sabi.

But instead of listening to his nonsense talk. I grabbed my phone on my pocket, click something and showed it to him, which made him shocked. His reaction right now is the same as my reaction earlier. Mine is just the handsome version.

He snatched the phone from my hand. He looked closely at the picture, trying to analyze what he just saw.

Yes, I took a picture of her secretly, while we were eating at the restaurant.

"What the heck?!", he cursed. "Panong- ha??"

"I told you na hindi lang ako namamalik-mata. Nakaharap ko pa nga e, nakausap ko, at nakilala."

"For real??", he asked.

"Yes, she's Andrea Martinez. So basically, hindi siya si Cristel... But I'm not still sure."

One thing comes to my mind. " I need to know everything about her", I said.

"So, pa-paimbestigahan mo rin 'yan?"

"Hindi, I'll do it myself"

Magiging madali lang ito sa'kin kung gagawin ko ng maayos at malinis, lalo na't mapapalapit siya sa'kin. "But I still need your help, Luke", I asked for his cooperation.

I sighed. "Tomorrow, she'll be here for a job interview... Some of my loyal employees na kilala si Cristel baka malito pag nakita siya", I worriedly said.
