When the lots were first drawn, Midoriya was shaken. The only clear thought in my mind was how weak he must be. How weak his clenched fists must be while they quiver at the thought of fighting another student. He shifted his gaze to Bakugo, a mix of unwavering determination and fear.

It wasn't that I cared about Midoriya and his shaky hands, but I did care about passing this with a good grade, making Shigaraki proud. Frankly, if Midoiya is scared to go up against Bakugo, then I'm not sure I'm going to be eager to work with him. Shigaraki and Kurogiri gave me very clear instructions. That I need to become a high-ranking student in my class and that I should aim to impress my teachers. And I don't know if I can do that with my teammate trembling at the thought of going up against a teenager. Bakugo grunted, entering the building with Iida.

Ururaka attempted to make some small talk with Midoriya, as he began sweating profusely, explaining how he's known "Kaachan" since he was a child and how he's some sort of bully. She identified Kaachan as Bakugo, but I couldn't care less. Midoriya is scared. I'd like to tell him to suck it up, but befriending my classmates is vital.

"If you'd like, I could handle him then." I drew in Midoiya's attention quickly, he thought for a second before I continued. "I get you guys have this childhood rivalry thing going on, but if you want, I will do it."

"He's amazing. He's so strong, and he has so much technique, he's so ambitious." Jesus I might gag. "I'm just worried."

"What, do you have some sort of crush on him?" I nearly winced, didn't mean to let that one slip. He looked a little confused, but I tried to shift my comment. "You're talking about him like he's unbeatable, which isn't true. Have some faith in your team, we're going to take him down."

"No, you don't get it (L/N), all of those things just mean that I'm going to have to work harder. I refuse to lose today."

"Alright then, we've got this," I responded. "Right Ururaka!"

"She nodded gleefully, throwing her fist into the air. "Let's talk quirks real quick before we run out of time, so we can make a plan." They both nodded before Ururaka started.

"I can make stuff float basically, but if it's too much, then I'll puke." Right to the point, I dig it.

"I'm not sure how to explain this briefly, but I can transfer things to people. Like pain, desires, feelings, etc. etc. I have to touch them to activate it. But it ends after 15 minutes or when they go unconscious." I tried to hide any real drawbacks or extents of my quirk just for when the day came that I wouldn't be their classmate anymore.

"I have super strength, but it comes at the cost of my body." He opened and closed his fist a couple times.

"Okay, so, anyone have a plan?" I inquired, I pretty much had a general idea of our options, and I was pleased that we had the advantage of an extra person. Our quirks would make things simple. Boy, I love how our society is skewed in the favor of those with strong parents. "I think our quirks together are best suited to take on Bakugo." I gestured between me and Midoriya.

He nodded, "He's really cocky, so of course he's going to leave Iida behind to guard the nuke... Which means-" Midoriya looked toward Ururaka who took the message in stride.

"Which means I'll be looking for the missile." Midoriya and I nodded as All Might notified us that it was time to enter the building."

The inside of the building was empty, the walls were lined with metal panels. Ururaka followed closely behind Midoriya, who seemed a though there was something heavily weighing on his mind. I wasn't yet sure if Midoriya was distracted or incredibly focused, regardless, I walked by his side hoping for Bakugo to show up quickly.
