𝟎.𝟓 𝐋𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐎𝐮𝐭

Getting ready for Chrissy funeral was actually hard but I had Evelyn there to help me, because she wasn't able to get ready by herself either.

We decided to ride with my mom.

Me, Evelyn and my mom looked for somewhere to sit, my mom somehow left us so we sat with Jason and Patrick.

"Hey," Patrick says as he scoots over getting nervous.

"Hi," I said with a nice smile.

"But I know Chrissy is in heaven now" Chrissy mom says.

I looked around at the setting and started to notice Patrick looking off into space with a scared reaction.

"Hey"

There wasn't a response, I started to tap him to get a reaction. He still did respond and now i'm a little concerned.

He then snaps out of it finally "Are you okay" I whispered and he just nodded.

I can't stand athletes who try to act nonchalant.

"Hey," Patrick says while jogging up to me.

"Hi McKinney"

"Sorry about earlier, I thought I heard something weird but I don't know," He says walking along with me.

"It's alright you don't have to explain yourself"

"Hey where are you headed to," he trying to change the topic and it's clearly obvious.

"My mom going to drop Evelyn off and then probably spend time with my mom"

"Oh cool, is this your mom car," he says when I make a sudden stop.

I nod and then Patrick goes to proceed to open the car door for me and I smile as I get in.

"See you later Melissa" Patrick says shutting the door and I smile again.

My mom drops me off at the Wheeler's so I can have a friend to be around I guess.

When I walk in everyone is rushing to the car and I was dragged along.

On the ride to this abandoned house Robin kept me updated on the situation going on.

At the destination I get out the car and look at this old abandoned house and start to feel goosebumps.

"Yeah, that's not creepy" Steve says to break the silence.

Steve goes to break the nails off the door so we can enter and I'm a little bit worried about Eddie during all of this.

"What exactly are we supposed to be looking for in this shithole?" Steve proceeds to ask and all I can do is agree.

"Not sure, we just know this house is important to Vecna" Nancy replies.
