I listen to grunts and groans from Percy stuck on one side of the door. Metal clinging, his weak body hitting the floor. I focused on my self breathing deeply, I already broke the handle but I couldn't get in. I finally pushed everything I had and my body weight on it causing the thick metal door to fall to the ground. I looked for Percy but he wasn't there, just a open hole in the floor and Echidna standing there looking down with her pet. I run toward the hole seeing him barley holding on "Percy!" I look down at him but my eyes go up to Echidna and her monster.

Echidna laughs at me "Oh Aglaea, it's either fight me or attempt to save him"

I look at the monster and back to her. I could take them both but not before Percy would fall. I groan and reach down and hand for Percy. He looks at me worried. The whole world slows down and I feel a strong push behind me. I desperately try to grab onto something, scared for my life.

I fall into the hole seeing the ground externally high up, my heart speeds up and I reach out for the boy. "Percy!" I yell and watch him let go.

"No Alia!" He screams and I just close my eyes. Just darkness, is all I remember.

When I open my eyes, I see a tree above me shading my face and eyes. I hear the waves of the ocean like I was right next to it. "Alia? Alia?!" Percy says sudden relief in his voice. I see him, his wet curly hair dangling off his forehead and his shirt that stuck to his body. He smiles looking at me, "I'm so glad your okay"

I realize Percy is on his knees beside my body, which is weak on the warm deck. "Percy" I say softly and smile. "What happened?"

He tucks my wet hair behind my ears "My father saved us" his eyes becoming watery.

I smile hearing him say that "That's great because I wasn't looking forward to dying"

He laughs and watches me sit up "Why'd you choose to try and save me when you could've stopped Echidna?"

I sigh and rub my eyes "Well I thought you would need saving. Not me." I was kinda embarrassed but mostly irritated with myself.

Grover walks over "I'm so glad I found you guys because we gotta get out of here"

I looked at Grover and back to Percy who was nodding. "Wait where do we need to go next?" I ask

"Well we need to go to Santa Monica, my father he's going to meet me there." Percy smiles

I look to Grover who has something to say "One thing though, the police are after us."

"So no public transportation" I groan and look at Percy "Alright let's just walk"

"Walk?!" Percy asks repeating what I had said.

After at least a hour of walking Percy won't stop opening his mouth, ranting and ranting about everything. "Wait, do you hear that?" Percy looks back.

"Come on let's just let it pass" I spot the motorcycle and sit down behind a large piece of roadblock.

Grover agrees and we all sit down waiting for the person to just keep driving. Percy looks at me "Why have you been so quiet?" He looks at me confused.

I look at the sky rubbing my hands together.

"are you feeling alright?" Percy asked 

I hear thunder and I nod my head. "I feel fine Percy."

"Your sure, you almost look pale after the arch-" he starts but I cut him off.

"Perc, we need to focus on the quest" I hear the motorcycle shift gears and stop.
