It's finally my favourite holiday- if you can even call it that.
Halloween.
I'm normally not this giddy but, halloween brings out the kid in me.
You can call me a fucking idiot if you want, but I've always loved dressing up for Halloween. When I was younger I loved the candy and trick or treating, then as I matured I grew to like the partying too.
Regardless, I still got to dress up, through as I've gotten older the costumes aren't as extravagant.
No more fancy innocent kids costumes, that's for sure.
This year, Slytherin is hosting a Halloween party in our common room tonight and I'm more excited than I'd like to admit out loud.
What makes this Halloween different is that I've convinced Ariana to do a costume with me.
She was very hesitate at first, said matching costumes were cringey. But, when she heard my idea she agreed happily. It's probably because I showed her the dress I bought her but, I'll pretend she just loved my idea.
Right now I am changing out of my school uniform and into something comfortable. I'm going over to Ariana's to get ready before the party, so, I'll just change there.
I finish getting dressed, tying the string of my sweatpants, before I grab the clothes for later and practically run out of my dorm eagerly.
Ariana has had an effect on me for a while now, but the past two weeks have been something else.
We've been the closest we've ever been, causing me to be the closest I've ever been to telling her I don't want this to be fake anymore.
I make it to her door and don't even bother knocking, the memory from almost two months ago replaying in my mind. That time I had walked in on Ariana changing, I was in a shit mood because I had a good time on our date the night before and she had said she wanted to be friends after this.
Fuck being friends. I want to be so much more with her, and I knew that before our first "fake" date was even over.
I'm pulled out of my thoughts as I open her door and see her lying on her bed, on her stomach using her elbows to prop herself up.
I internally sigh, silently wishing I had walked in on her changing again.
She beams up at me, well more so at what I'm holding.
"Do you have my dress?" She asks, her last word sounding more like a squeal because she sees it in my arms.
She jumps up from her bed and in a quick moment is standing right in front of me, looking up at me through her lashes.
If those eyes weren't enough to make me flush, I definitely turn red when she starts to beg, "Theo, please, can I have the dress?"
I hand the dress to her without saying anything, in hopes it takes her eyes away from me long enough for my face to return to normal.
I wet my lips while watching her eyes dance around the thin lace fabric of the dress, it's a beautiful short dark grey dress that is fitted on her torso but flowy on her thighs.
"It's perfect." She mumbles not looking up at me, I smile anyway.
"I'm glad you like it, Bella." She's slowly warming up to me, so I test my luck with that nickname. Luckily, she doesn't pick up on it, or just chooses to ignore it.
"Can I see your outfit?" She asks, placing her dress down. I show her my grey suit that's matches the colour of her dress and, my red dress shirt and tie.
