-Naruto POV-
I had waken up way before Sasuki. I used the substitution jutsu with a pillow to get out of bed. I got dressed in a new outfit and left out the window. It was still dark out. As I was sneaking away, I saw Itachi looking up at me. He was sitting in the stone wall around our house. I jumped down next to him.He didn't scold me or anything, he just smiled. "Once you get promoted, let's do a mission together." He said.
I noticed he was wearing a normal Jonin uniform. I smiled. "Let's do it." I said.
He stood up and poked my forehead. "Take it easy on them, Naruto." He said.
I laughed as I stood up. "No." I said before jumping down from the wall.
I began walking towards the stadium. I heard a familiar screech overhead as I walked. It was Uchiwa letting me know that he was with me.
As I walked, the sun rose illuminating everything around me. Walking on my left was dad with mom on his other side and on my right was Shisui. Behind us was the majority of the Uchiha clan. Sasuki landed beside me silently, then moved to my right. As we walked, more people join the mob behind us.
When we got to the arena, they were just opening the Arena to the public. Dad spoke. "Give us a show." He said.
I nodded and walked straight in with Sasuki as he went with the rest of the clan to buy tickets. We got to the arena floor to find the Suna and Kiri genin waiting. I walked up to Chojuro, the guy with the massive sword on his back.
"That thing must be hard to use." I said as I gestured to his sword.
He chuckled nervously. "Y-yah, it was. It took me a long time to get the hang of it, but-but I've gotten pretty good." He said.
I smirked. "I expect a lot from our match then." I said.
"The matches haven't been announced yet." He said, confusion clear in his voice.
I pointed at his heavily callused hands then showed mine. "I don't need them to. Those hands tell me all I need to know. Even if it's not today, we will have a match, a good one." I said with a grin.
