Sunoo popped his lollipop inside his mouth as he slid both his hands inside his pockets while walking ahead. Beside him was Heeseung who was gobbling up his lunch which was a burger and a can of soda.

After his talk with the alpha at the library and finding out that he was his first kiss, he awkwardly bid his goodbye and told Sunghoon that he should contact him through texting instead.

"Do you think it's weird?"

"What is?"

"When someone is a dominant alpha but at this age, that person didn't even kiss anybody?" Sunoo genuinely asked. He thought that asking a dominant alpha might help him to enlighten the situation since he really believes that it was peculiar.

With the alpha's face and over all being, it was quite unbelievable.

"I think that's because you only meet horny dominant alphas, Sun" Heeseung genuinely replied as well without caring too much about the question.

"It's either that alpha is a nice guy or that person simply doesn't have enough time for it— why? Did you meet a nice guy? Did you find your match?" The alpha guessed, trying to get a reaction out of Sunoo who looked away with a pout.

"No way! I don't deal with inexperienced p-people!" He spat as he slowly started distancing himself. Heeseung gave a sarcastic nod, already knowing that his friend was lying and decided to just leave it that way.

He wasn't the type to pry into other people's life so he went along with it.

They both stayed silent on their way to their own department when the omega decided to break it.

"So did you already tell Jake?"

"No, not yet" the alpha heaved a sigh as he tried recalling what his father told him over dinner at Sunoo's house. His family was part of the politics too and basically in the same party as the omega's father.

"He wants you to have an heir for your company right? If you two were to stay together in the future wouldn't that be hard? Jake is a beta after all..." The thought alone stirred up Heeseung's stomach as he could feel himself vomiting, afraid to imagine a future without Jake.

"I still have time to think about i—"

"What do you mean?! This is your last year. After this you'd start working and eventually, those old men will force you to get tied down" realistically speaking, Sunoo was correct. Being part of a powerful family had its own perks and disadvantages— take responsibility as an example.

When the omega noticed the older getting agitated, he clung onto his arms and Heeseung replied with a chuckle. They basically grew up together so Sunoo was like his annoying little brother at this point.

"But I've read somewhere that betas can produce offspring... right?"

"Hmm... It will be hard but not impossible" the alpha replied so Sunoo remained curious.

"Really??"

"When the beta's recessive trait is lower than the neutral and he's partnered with a dominant alpha, then it's possible" Heeseung explained while Sunoo listened to him talk. The omega saw how Jake and Heeseung built their relationship from scratch and it has been five years since the two started.

To Sunoo, he had never seen such a healthy relationship before and he really admired both males for it.

"So... Is Jake lower than the neutral?"

"I don't know..." all kinds of thought clouded the alpha's mind as the conversation started sinking in on him. He had been pretty laid back all this time and didn't think it through.
