BELLA'S P.O.V.

It was the next day and I was making my way to the lunch room when I bumped into someone.

"I'm so sorry." Me and the girl said in unison. I took a moment to look at her, she had short brown curly hair, dark skin and blue eyes, she was truly beautiful.

"Hi, I'm Renisha, how are you?" She asked with a smile. The question took me by surprise, normal people would ask for a photograph. People from the academy wouldn't care if they saw me because they come from powerful families. Yet she didn't even recognize me and was being nice.

"I'm great, you?" I asked her with a big smile. I immediately liked her, not many people took interest on me except for my current friends, and my mate, of course. But I don't think she had recognized me, the lighting in the hall wasn't the best and I'm sure she couldn't see my red eyes correctly.

"I'm good, would you like to hang out some time?" She asked shyly and we started walking towards the cafeteria.

"Yeah."

"Great." She looked at me when we entered the cafeteria and finally noticed my eye color thanks to the better lightning. "Holy shit! You are..." She was too shocked to finish the sentence.

"Yeah. I'll see you after school, my dorm room is on the seventh floor, 707." I gave her a smile and walked away, leaving her stunned.

Me and Alex were discussing something stupid as always when the doorbell rang. Alex knew that Renisha was coming and she was exited to meet her.

"Hi." I said once I opened the door.

"Hi. Oh my god, I love this place! You guys did a really good job decorating." She said with a smile.

"Thank you." Alex said with a smile.

"No problem."

"What kind of movies do you like?" I asked Renisha as I logged into Netflix.

"Defiantly action ones, if they are about superheroes  better."

"No way, us too." Alex said and headed to the kitchen.

"Do you like chocolate shakes?" Alex asked Renisha as she took a thermo out of the freezer.

"Of course, who doesn't?" She said as she sat on the couch.

"I don't." I said with a serious face and tried to whole back my laughter.

"Oh umm, sorry." She said awkwardly, worried that she had offended me.

"I'm just messing with you, I love chocolate shakes." We all blurted out laughing. I sat in the middle of the couch and Alex in the other side.

"Have you found your mate yet? I want to know who our future king will be." She asked exited.

I immediately tensed up. "No."

"I'm sorry I didn't want to make you feel bad."

"No, it's fine, you didn't know." I told her with a weak smile.

"Now let's watch the movie." I told her and pressed play on a superhero movie.

"That was so much fun, thank you guys for having me." She said as she was about to leave.

"Come back soon." I told her with a smile.

"I will, bye." She said matching my smile.

"Bye." I closed the door.

"I like her." Alex said with a big smile.

"I do too, she was nice to me even before knowing who I was, which is more than what we can say for the majority of people here." I sat down on the kitchen aisle stool.

"I want to hang out with her more, what do you think we can do on our next meeting?" Alex asked wanting an idea.

"Maybe we can go on a picnic?" I asked Alex what she thought.

She was about to answer when the doorbell rang, I opened the door to find Renisha crying outside.

"Are you okay?" I asked concerned. She didn't say anything and fell into my arms.

"What's wrong?" Alex asked concerned, now standing next to me.

"My mother, she is abusive. I used to be her punching bag but now that I'm at the academy she has taken it upon my little sister. I was fine when she did it to me, I never complained, just begged for her not to touch my little sister. Right now my little sister called me and told me she is severally hurt. My mother has told me many times not to call the cops or she'll going to kill my little sister. I don't know what to do, I'm worried." She cried inconsolably in my arms.

"Don't worry, I'll sort this out." I hugged her and went to make a phone call.

Come on, pick up!

"Hello? Bella?" My father's voice ringed through the phone.

"No time for chit chat, father, a life is at risk. A woman beat up her daughter drastically, I need you to send your men to her house."

"What's the address." He asked serious now realizing how drastic this is.

"What's her address?" I asked Renisha in a low tone.

"32 Morgan Ville." She answered.

"32 Morgan Ville." I repeated the address to my father.

"Thank you for telling me, sweetheart, I'm sending my men right now."

"No problem dad." I said with a smile.

"Love you." He said softly.

"Love you too, dad." I said with an even bigger smile and cut the call.

"Don't worry, Reni, your sister is going to be alright." I pulled Alex and Renisha into a hug.

"Thank you." She said wiping her tears.

"No need to thank me, I just did what was right."
