The team practice has already begun and it has been going smoothly. The last two days were them practicing the the cheers and trying their best to memorize it. Shinyu was there to correct if ever there are things that would not satisfy his ear.

Since that day with Youngjae, Dohoon was the one who was avoiding him. Yes, Shinyu was sad because obviously he likes the clingy Dohoon but he was already planning to avoid him but Dohoon was doing all the work.

But earlier, Dohoon was trying to talk to Shinyu, and it caught him off-guard. He was sure that Dohoon was avoiding me, so what's with the sudden, "Where will you eat lunch?"

Shinyu just replied, "I don't know yet." then walked away, not even a single emotion present. He acted uninterested.

Shinyu avoiding and almost completely ignoring Dohoon has been going for already five days now. Well they do interact but only during practices but after that, Shinyu would completely distance himself.

He was thinking if maybe what he was doing was selfish of him, but he thought that it's for his own good, for both of them.

He wants to respect his cousin and her boyfriend. Yes, they could and are still friends, but what Dohoon has been doing was literally crossing the boundaries of friendship.

He's very confused. He has never felt this way before and it's very hard to assume the actions of Dohoon. Sometimes he's clingy, then sometimes it's like he doesn't even know Shinyu. That's what's Shinyu's been thinking for a long time.

Dohoon himself already confirmed that he's already in a relationship, but from Shinyu and Nica has observed, it was like the two wasn't even happy with each other. They don't really judge though, that's just what they see. It could be just for show from the peer pressure they have been receiving, but whatever they say, they'll just consider it as the truth.

Thankfully, Nica knew the plan and she agreed to help him with the 'plan'. Everytime Dohoon would ask Shinyu a question, Nica would answer in his behalf, and Shinyu was very grateful and thankful to her.

Today is Friday, their last practice session for the week. They've already mastered the cheer and the actions, all they needed to work on is the dynamics, mastery, and synchronization. 

"We've been practicing for five days now and I'm really happy we've come this far already. Thank you for the hard work everyone, I hope that your energy next week would be the same, or even much higher than what you've shown! Let's meet again next week!" Shinyu said as he dismissed the team.

Everyone also said thanks and goodbye. It was already almost 7PM, the sun has already set and the night has started enveloping the dusk skies.

The 12th grade participants were still at the venue, cleaning and tidying up, securing the props and instruments. 

Suddenly, Nica approached Shinyu who was organizing some papers in his clipboard. "Hey, maybe you should stop avoiding and ignoring him." 

"Out of the blue? Why?" Shinyu replied, not expecting what Nica said.

"Look at him." Nica said shortly.

Nica didn't even tell Shinyu where Dohoon was but he knew when to look. When he averted his gaze to Dohoon, he felt hurt. It was the first time in his life where he saw Dohoon look so down, gloomy, sad, disappointed, he doesn't even know what to describe his face.

"Maybe he's in a fight with Chunsa? Him being sad couldn't probably be because of me." Shinyu defended himself.

"Can you still remember how he looked like back then when they had a fight?" Nica asked.

"Yeah, but he didn't looked like that. He was still smiling but there was lain in his smile. Now, he looks like, I don't know? Devastated?" Shinyu replied.

"See! You said it yourself! It's probably because it's been almost a week since you two even conversed." Nica said.

"You know that I'm afraid cause I'm feeling something that I shouldn't. I know that I have to back off and move on but I don't know how. I'm trying to avoid him, hoping that it would work."

"Is it working though? No shit Sherlock. It's obvious it's hurting the both of you." Nica was now scolding Shinyu.

"For now, just treat him as a friend. Try your best to surpress that feeling. You've did that for two years, try to do it just for two weeks, just for this intramurals. Do it for the team." Nica said as he tapped his shoulder and left him with his thoughts. 

Dohoon was currently putting the drum on the multicab, along with the props. He was heading back to the venue to get his back when he saw Shinyu on the entrance. Their eyes lock, no words said yet but they know that they miss each other. Shinyu spread his arms, inviting him for a hug.

Dohoon did not waste any second and ran to Shinyu, knocking him back a bit as he embraced him like there's no tomorrow. Shinyu hugged back, feeling content and happy.

"You look so down, what happened? Are you okay?" Shinyu asked while patting the latter's back.

"Are you mad at me?" He asked at me with a worried voice.

"What!? No! Why did you think like that?" Shinyu asked.

"You've been ignoring me for these past few days. I keep thinking what have I done wrong. I can't remember anything I did why I upset you. You said that I'm doing good with the instruments. I haven't seen you like that so I was really sad." Dohoon replied. 

Shinyu even hugged him tighter and felt very guilty because of what he have done. He promised himself to make it up to him. He wants to cheer him up, make up for the times he ignored him.

"I'm sorry that you have to think like that. I was just very busy and stressed with all this responsibilities I have." Shinyu lied and now he even felt more guilty, but he just can't muster up the courage to confess to him now. Not yet.

"It's okay, I just misunderstood you. I just really thought I did something that upset you.", Dohoon said, smiling as he looked at Shinyu's face.

"Wanna go for some ice cream? My treat!" Shinyu offered. 

"Sure!" Dohoon replied as his eyes lit up in excitement.

Shinyu was sure gonna regret this but he did it anyway. He kissed Dohoon's cheeks as he grabbed his hand, pulling him and started running to the convenience store right across them.
