Chapter Twelve: Manik

I looked at Cabir to make sure that this all wasn't a dream but he was equally shocked.

How is that possible?

We saw Aarav die in front of us but here he was standing in front us, and with Nandini too. Did Nandini know all along that Aarav was alive? How is she with him right now.

All the questions in my head was making me even more restless.

Before any of us could say anything to each other Aarav faints as Dhruv catches him.

"Aarav" Dhruv nudges him "I think his body temperature is dropping—we have to get both of them out of here"

I quickly go over to Nandini putting my blazer around her before grabbing her in my arms, she was already unconscious.

"Nandini" I call out her name to try to get her to wake up but she was fully passed out.

We all took them out of there to our cars, I sat in the back seat of Ahaan's car while holding laying Nandini down on my lap holding her closer to me.

She looked so pale, I can't imagine what would've happened if we didn't find them. I rub her hands in mine to keep her warm and Ahaan turns the heat on.

Kiara sat next to him in the front.

"What the hell!" Kiara says "I have so many questions"

Me too Kiara me too.

"I can't believe my eyes" Ahaan adds.

"Something is so wrong and we can't see it" kiara says "Aarav hadn't died this whole time but why was he kept away from us? And how did Nandini find him?"

"We will only know when both of them are okay" Ahaan tells her.

I look down at Nandini and I pull her closer to me hugging her, she was still ice cold. I was about to rub her feet so she could get warmer but I saw they were bleeding. Shit.

My heart broke seeing her in this condition.

I rub my hands together and cup her cheeks, and her face was getting warmer. I lean my head on hers.

"Nandini" I whisper to her "please be okay"

I caress her hair.

I don't know how things will be like tomorrow but I just know everyone's lives just changed from this moment onwards.

We reach the hospital and we quickly took both of them inside while the doctors attended them.

Cabir comes over to me.

"Aarav is alive, he will be with us again" if someone who didn't know Cabir, they would tell that he was about to cry.

"I know" we immediately hug each other.

"But where was he this whole time?" Dhruv comes as we break the hug.

"It has definitely got something to do with Rishi and your mother" Ahaan says. "Did you guys see how he looks? He looked extremely weak, he has gone skinner way skinnier. He looks lifeless. He looks like he was tortured"

"Ahaan is right, He doesn't look like himself. They must've done something bad to him" navya adds.

"I will kill Rishi!" I grab my gun out of my pocket "I'm finding him right now, he will pay for doing this to aarav and he will pay today!"
