🅰🅵🆃🅴🆁 all the guests had left Daniel's house, Amanda decided it was time to approach Ashton about joining his father and Robby for one of their training sessions. She hoped that by spending time together, Ashton might grow closer to his father and gain a better understanding of each other. With this in mind, she headed to Ashton's room.
As she entered, she found him engrossed in a game, his headphones on, oblivious to her presence. Amanda gently touched his shoulder, startling him.
"Ashton, can we talk for a moment?" she asked, her voice soft yet insistent.
Ashton removed his headphones, finally noticing his mother. "Mom? What's up?"
Amanda sat on the edge of his bed, her expression thoughtful. "I wanted to talk to you about your dad's training sessions. Have you ever thought about joining them?"
Ashton hesitated, clearly uncomfortable with the idea. "Not really," he muttered, turning his chair to face her.
Amanda could see the uncertainty in his eyes. "I think it could be a great way for you two to connect," she said gently. "You might even enjoy it."
Ashton shrugged, avoiding her gaze. "I don't know. It just doesn't seem like my thing."
Amanda leaned in slightly, her tone encouraging. "Why not give it a try? You don't have anything to lose, and who knows, you might find it interesting."
There was a long pause as Ashton mulled over her words. Finally, he sighed and nodded. "Alright, I'll give it a shot. But just one training session, okay?"
Amanda smiled, a mix of relief and pride washing over her. "That's all I ask. I'm sure your dad will appreciate it."
Ashton managed a small smile in return, and Amanda felt a sense of accomplishment. She hoped this small step would lead to something more meaningful between father and son.

The next morning, Daniel decided to hold the karate training session in a peaceful forest clearing, hoping the natural setting would help Ashton relax and feel more comfortable. Ashton arrived with mixed feelings, concealing his nerves under a calm exterior.
As they warmed up, the forest air filled with the sounds of their movements and the occasional bird call. Between exercises, Robby tried to get to know Ashton better, engaging in small talk and asking questions about Daniel.
"Mr. LaRusso told me that Mr. Miyagi was a great man. I would have liked to meet him," Robby said while practicing a punch.
Ashton glanced at him, feeling a twinge of jealousy. "Yeah well you lost youre chance" he replied, mimicking the exercise. "Besides, my dad seems to have a huge crush on the guy. Sometimes I think he loves him more than us and our mom." He forced a chuckle, but his tone was sharp, hinting at his discomfort with how close Robby seemed to be with Daniel.
