Y/n sat up and stretched her back as Meeko trotted around restlesly in the room where her, Iida, and Todoroki were residing.

Todoroki looked at her. "Did you sleep Y/n?"

"Not much, I felt too restless."

"I figured, me neither."

The girl kept watch on her raccoon. "I think we were lucky to get the hits we did. I'm pretty sure he could have killed us if he really wanted to."

"Yeah, seems to me he let us both live on purpose. I'm impressed by you though, Iida." He looked at the class rep. "He was actually trying to murder you but you stood tall."

"That's not true...I was-"

The blue haired male was cut off by the door opening, revealing Gran Torino and the pro hero Iida was interning with. "Oh, so the injured youngins are awake." Torino nudged Meeko away from the taller hero with his cane.

"Hey geezer."

"And Manual too." Iida added.

"Idiot." Torino stomped over to Y/n as everyone watched. "I could yell at you for hours now."

Y/n huffed, rolling her eyes. "Take it out of my pay."

"Watch that mouth before I take that dog away." Torino watched Y/n's face drop. "That's not what we're here for anyway." He looked back at the door. "You've got a visitor."

A tall figure walked through the door. It was a dog?

"This is Hosu's chief of police: Tsuragamae Kenji."

Iida and Todoroki moved to stand up, while Y/n kept in her spot.

"No please stay seated, woof."

Y/n raised her eyebrows. Woof?

"So you're the U.A students who brought down the hero killer, huh?"

"We are." Todoroki nodded his head.

"Stain has serious injuries. Severe burns and several broken bones. Right now he's in the hospital under strict guard, woof. Here's a lesson you should have already learned: When crooks became the norm, the police sought to maintain the status quo. It decided we wouldn't use quirks as weapons. That's when heroes came in. They could do what we couldn't. If they were licensed of course, woof."

Y/n silently sighed. It wasn't a secret as to where this was going.

"It would be impossible for the police to condone the use of deadly quirks, after all, we're here to stop such harm from being done. The only reason pros can use their powers now is because of the strict code of ethics that the early heroes chose to abide by. That's why it's against the law for uncertified people to use their quirks to cause injury. Whether you were up against the hero killer or not, none of you had the authority to harm the villain."
