"Alright mama, we're outta your hair. Get your stuff done baby." Gio grabbed my face and gave me a kiss

"Thank you baby, bye pook." I looked down at savanni

"Bye mommy, we bring you gift back. "

As soon as Gio and Savanni left my apartment. I was finally alone and I could get some work done that I was falling behind on, or so I thought. But as I turned around, I saw Shay standing in the bedroom doorway, a sinister smile on her face.

"What are you doing here? How tf didnl you even get in, Shay?" I asked, my voice trembling with fear.

I felt a surge of panic as I realized that she had been watching me, waiting for Gio to leave so she could sneak in. I needed to get out of there, but before I could make a move, Shay lunged at me, her eyes filled with madness as she stood in my face.

"I just wanted to talk, Claudia," Shay replied, her tone dripping with false sincerity. "I miss you. I miss us."

I took a step back, my heart pounding in my chest. I knew what Shay was capable of, and I wasn't about to let her back into my life.

"I'm not getting back with you" I said firmly. "You hurt me, you abused me. I can't go back to that."

Shay's smile faded, replaced by a look of anger. "If you get back with me, I promise I won't hit you anymore," she said, taking a step towards me.

I felt a surge of panic rise within me, and without thinking, I turned and tried to make a run for it. But Shay was faster, grabbing me by the arm and pulling me back towards her.

"Let go of me, Shay!" I screamed, struggling against her grip.

But Shay was strong, too strong. She pushed me against the wall, her hands tightening around my throat. I gasped for air, clawing at her hands, trying to break free.

"Please, Shay, stop!" I begged, tears streaming down my face.

But Shay's eyes were filled with rage, and she refused to let go. In a desperate move, I kicked her in the stomach, causing her to stumble back for a moment.

Seizing the opportunity, I pushed past her and ran towards the door. But Shay was quick to recover, grabbing me by the hair and pulling me back towards her.

"You're not getting away that easily, Claudia," Shay growled, her grip tightening on my hair.

In a blind panic, I lashed out, hitting Shay in the face with all the strength I could muster. She stumbled back, blood trickling from her nose.

But Shay wasn't done yet. With a roar of anger, she lunged at me, knocking me to the ground. We rolled on the floor, punching and kicking each other with all the pent-up fury and pain of our past.

Through the haze of pain and fear, I knew I had to fight back, to protect myself from Shay's wrath. With a final burst of strength, I managed to push her off me and scramble to my feet.

*incoming call*

"Stay away from me, Shay," I panted, my voice filled with defiance. "I'm done with you. I'm done with this." I ran over to the phone keeping my eyes on shay.

"Mama?" It was gio "baby help-" shay came dashing at me "ima have to call you back. " I threw the phone down still hearing gio calling for me

Shay lunged at me with a lamp from the living room.

I dodged her attack and ran towards the door, but she was faster than I anticipated. She grabbed me by the hair and pulled me back, causing me to stumble and fall to the ground. I could feel the adrenaline coursing through my veins as I fought back, kicking and punching with all my might.

The fight spilled out into the living room, the sound of crashing furniture and breaking glass echoing through the apartment. Shay was relentless, her attacks coming fast . But I refused to back down, determined to protect myself at all costs.

I managed to land a solid punch to her jaw, causing her to stagger back for a moment. Seizing the opportunity, I made a break for the front door, but Shay was hot on my heels. We grappled with each other, locked in a fierce struggle for control.

I could feel the bruises forming on my body, the pain searing through me with each blow. But I refused to let Shay win. With a burst of strength, I managed to push her away and make a run for it, my heart pounding in my chest.

As I finally reached the safety of the hallway elevator. I knew that this was far from over. But I would be ready for her, armed with the knowledge that I could never let my guard down again.
