I can't believe I'm at a at a smith talent show right now but rolled my eyes when I heard Cressida say to her group of bullies 'I bet no one is going to sing to Penelope Featherington...she's such a wallflower no wonder no one likes her' they laughed but I was seething in anger but kept my face calm then smirked and looked at anything and mouthed 'don't stop me' he looked at me then said 'you better court her after this understand' I nodded then got up and walked to the stage and everyone looked at me but I saw pen backstage so I walked backstage as-well then the host said "thank you Miss Blackhearts thank you for the nice song....." then everyone clapped as the girl walked backstage then the host said "welcome Mr.Colin Bridgerton!!!" Then I walked onto the stage and I said "this song is to...Penelope Featherington" making everyone but my family gasp loudly.

When I finished everyone's jaws were dropped but I looked at pen and saw she was crying in my sisters arms so I bowed then said "I Colin Bridgerton am here to ask Miss Penelope Featherington if she will do me the honors of letting me Court her properly" everyone gasped then I looked at pen and she wiped her tears from her eyes then mouthed 'let me sing my answer' I nodded then said "I shall wait for her answer" then I walked off the stage and over to my family as the host said "that was brilliant Mr.Bridgerton!" Then he continued and said "let's have a warm welcome for Miss toraline.."
Time skip 1 hour
The host said "please welcome Miss Penelope Featherington!" Everyone slowly clapped while my family and I were cheering loudly for her since her family were trying to leave but the crowd wouldn't let them.
Penelope's pov
I was actually going to sing to Colin and tell him my answer was OBVIOUSLY YES 🤪....I walked onto the stage when they called my name then looked at the crowed and said "this is my answer Mr.Colin Bridgerton" I started singing making everyone's eyes go wide while I was giving it my all.
