Here we go with the chapter ✨ hope you will enjoy 🤍
Chahat's POV:
I don't know why but I was feeling happy after whatever he did and said today..I have never felt this good in the last 2 years..though I am still not able to trust that he will not change like others did but my heart wants to go with the flow..his presence is making me happy.
"By the way, you didn't tell me..who were they? Poorvi and her family?" He asked me when he started driving again.
"Actually! They were my neighbours in my building where I used to live earlier before getting shifted with Prisha and one day, I just went to that building for some work and I saw Poorvi crying outside so I asked her and she told me about her father's health and their financial condition... from then, I am taking care of her father's treatment." I said.
"So, you visit them every Sunday?" He asked.
"Yes! And even on week days when I am free because, you know what? I feel that the person who is suffering with physical illness might get proper treatment, care and attention but what about the people suffering mentally after seeing the condition of their loved ones? The person who is sick knows when it is becoming painful and when not but the person who is taking care of him can just think and wonder if their loved ones are actually improving or just pretending to be okay which ruins their mental health." I said.
"That's the reason..I visit Poorvi and her mother and sometimes, when I am free..I hangout with poorvi and talk as much as I can with Chhaya di..so that they can also feel good despite the condition of the only man in their family...If not something else than this is the least I could do for them." I said with a smile.
"You know what? Your thoughts are also beautiful, just like you." He said making me smile at his words.
"Stop smiling or else, I will stop driving and start looking at you the entire time." He said and I squinted my eyes.
"Are you flirting with me by any chance Mr. Vohra?" I asked while folding my arms.
"Is there anything else that you would let me do ? I mean it's too early for us to...you know what I mean right?" He said with a mischievous smile.
"Stop this nonsense and focus on your driving." I said while he made a pout.
"Now would you like to go back to your place or would you like to come with me to our weekend party?" He asked after a pause.
"You know..I am not into parties right? I don't drink as well nor do I know how to dance then what would I do there?" I asked while making an obvious face.
"You can sit on the couch and munch on some snacks like you did in Prisha's party..but this time you won't be alone as I will also be there." I said and she looked at me with amusement.
