It was about.... three-ish years after Sophie and Keefe got married. And of course they had to have a day where they got to play base quest. They all met at Everglen's expansive property. Everyone was able to make it. Even Biana who had had her first kid four months ago. and was still pretty tired most of the time.
"I call Foster!!!" Keefe called.
"Sorry Keefe," Sophie said. "We're doing boys against girls."
The boys groaned.
"Too scared We're going to crush you?" Marella said.
"And you're questing first!" Biana said.
"And no abilities!" Stina said.
"And this is our base!" Linh said pointing to a Lavender tree. Sophie remembered the tree. It the same base from the time she discovered that she could teleport.
"See you after we win!" Keefe called.
The boys ran into the woods. after five minutes Sophie, Biana, and Linh went after the boys and Marella, Stina, and Maruca guarded the base.
Sophie could hear Keefe tromping through the woods so she followed the sound.
Sophie got tired after a little bit. But she kept running. She got closer to the sound so she channeled energy to her legs. Next thing she knew, she jumped. and was flying toward their base.
Not again! Sophie thought as the tree came closer and closer.
She hit the tree but grabbed onto a branch to break her fall. Everyone was standing underneath her.
They all doubled over in laughter.
"I know we could make it happen again." Keefe laughed.
Sophie swung her legs to get some momentum.
Craaaaaaaaaaaaack!!!
She fell towards the ground.
"I got her."
Keefe caught her and set her down.
"Real immature y'all."
"It was Keefe's idea" Biana said.
Sophie glared at Keefe.
"Jeez Foster! No reason to give me a death glare." Keefe said putting his hands up in an act of surrender.
She glared harder.
"Don't give me that look!" Keefe said. "Not the puppy dog eyes! Okay I'm sorry."
Sophie stopped giving his puppy dog eyes.
"You're bleeding." Keefe said looking at her wrist.
"I'll deal with it later."
"Let's get to my house."
"I don't know how much longer your parents will be able to deal with Lee lee." Tam agreed.
They all leaped too Duskponds, which was Tam and Biana's house.
Duskponds was a giant house, about the same size as havenfield. It also looked a lot like havenfield for some reason. It had a giant tree in the backyard with a small treehouse that was about the size as Sophie's house when she lived with the humans.
When they got there they heard a crash and what sounded like evil laughter.
Tam and Biana shared a look and ran inside.
"Please please please please please please please please please don't let those be the plates." Biana said as she opened the front door.
They all ran in. And doubled over in laughter.
Alden, Della, Grady and Edaline. We're all tied to chairs in the living room With Lilena, Tam and Biana's daughter who they called Lee-Lee, Doubling over in laughter with a lot of rope in her hands. Lilena Got Biana's teal eyes and good looks, and Tam's get black hair Which was put in pigtails.
"And that is why I call her a hurricane in pigtails." Keefe said between laughs.
"In our defense..." Grady said. "Yeah there's no way for us to defend ourselves."
"Alden and Della needed back up." Edaline said.
Keefe went over to untie them.
"Who the heck taught her to tie knots this tight?" He asked.
Sophie turned bright red.
Biana noticed. "Really?"
"She asked me how to tie a really tight knot. And then of course she gave me the puppy dog eyes."
Biana's sigh sounded more like a laugh, as she picked up Lilena and brought her upstairs.
Tam went into the kitchen and came back with scissors.
"Scissors aren't necessary." Sophie said.
She went behind and revealed a small peice of rope that was tucked underneath the knot. she pulled it and the knot came undone. she freed everyone else.
"We should probably get home." Grady said, rubbing his wrists.
"We'll see you later." Edaline said holding up her pathfinder. She and Grady walked into the light. Alden and Della did the same.
Sophie heard screaming from upstairs (Lee-Lee) Followed by yelling (Biana) which lead to Tam running up the stairs. And even more screaming (possibly Biana) and Some more yelling (Most likely Tam) And then muffled screams (Definetly Biana) And some shouting (Tam) followed by muffled shouting (Still Tam) And evil laughter (Lee-Lee) and then Lilena ran downstairs. Still laughing hysterically.
Sophie ran upstairs to find Tam and Biana Tied to two chairs with gags over her mouth.
Sophie held back laughs as she untied Biana who bolted downstairs the moment she was free. And then When Sophie untied Tam he immediatly got Lee-Lee's bed ready. And put a blanket on the floor.
"Just trust the process." He said when he saw Sophie's confused face.
"Get ready Tam!!" Biana shouted as she was running upstairs. She came into the room and set Lilena on the blanket and Tam folded her into it like a burrito. Lilena struggled, But couldn't break free.
"Don't worry it won't hurt her." Biana said. "it's the same method my parents used on me."
"It'll only wear her out." Tam assured her.
Eventually Lilena fell asleep. Tam and Biana unwrapped Lilena and placed her in her bed and tucked her in.
"Huh." Sophie said. "I might try that with my kid."
"Soph, In case you forgot your not even pregnant yet." Biana joked.
Sophie's face flamed. "Oh yeah right." she laughes nervously
"We should go downstairs before the food get's cold." Tam said.
They all went downstairs.
Biana opened the kitchen and there was so much food on the table.
"HOLY LUSHBERRY!" Marella said when she saw the food.
Everyone sat down and it was like an all you can eat buffet.
they all had lively conversations with each other.
"Base quest was like impossible today." Sophie said.
"Why?" Dex asked.
"Because I'm pregnant." Sophie said.
"WHAT!" everyone screamed.
