WILLOW STARED THROUGH A PAIR OF BINOCULARS. Her main focus on the sea before her. She stood on the balcony of Auradon Prep. It was quiet. Too quiet. Ever since Uma had disappeared, she had made sure to keep a close watch on the water below. She even recruited Mal on some days.

A pair of hands wrapping around her waist and giving her a tight squeeze brought her away from her thoughts. She gasped and removed the binoculars. She twisted in their arms and came face-to-face with Ben. She grinned at the sight of him and then looked back to the ocean, "Not a tentacle in sight," she reported.

"I think if Uma was up to something, we'd know by now," Ben tells her. His hair had grown out as well, but just a bit. It was a good look on him. "No, Ben," she shook her head, looking back at him, "I know how villains think. And I don't trust Uma, as far as I can throw her. She's gonna wait until our defenses are down and then, that's when she's gonna strike. I really wish I had time to go do a fly over because I can go so much higher."

Ben smiled softly as she referred to her phoenix form. She could transform into anything, even a dragon like Mal, but there was something unique about a phoenix. She turns her body back toward the ocean and pulls the binoculars back up to her eyes, "Well, you can't be everywhere at once," he tells her, pushing down on the binoculars. Removing them from her eyes, "Besides I got your back."

They look and at the top of the castle stood five of Ben's men, all with telescopes, watching the ocean as the waves hit against the rocks. Willow was a bit relieved but it wasn't enough. "Now, come on," he says, taking ahold of her hand, "Everyone's waiting on us."

"But you are getting more guards?" she hoped.

"I'm getting more guards, now breathe." Ben told her. She groaned loudly and tilted her head back to look at the sky. She looked back at Ben and a smile formed on her face as she raises her hand to move his bangs from his. "I could get use to the shaggy look."

"Oh, could you?" he asks her, locking arms with her.

    "Definitely."

As they walk, he glances down at the dress that covered her body. It was a black, shoulder less gown, but still had sleeves, with red, painted flames along the bottom. "Evie did incredible on your dress."

"She really did!" Willow grinned, looking down at the stunning gown. As they make their way through the school, they make small talk, mostly about how nervous they were. Willow was under the impression that they were making an announcement about the VK's but it was so much more than that. They came to a stop once they reached the doors. Ben turns his head to look at her, "You ready?"

She sucked in a deep breath, "Yup," she smiles at him and he winks at her, pushing open the door. Things had been a lot easier for Willow since they came back from the Isle. She was able to be her true self. Her witchy self but she refrained from using her powers all the time.
