My black pant suit layed neatly folded upon my neatly made bed. The morning was good. The sunlight beamed through my bedroom window through a little opening in the curtain.
As I got fully dressed I made myself a tomato sandwich and took some trail mix to inhale on the go. With my go bag and essentials already packed and ready to go, I was off to my new office and team in Quantico, Virginia.
~
After a three hour drive I hopped out of my car, an 1967 Chevy Impala, and walked inside the big building. Going up the stairs instead of using the elevator, ignoring the danger that could possibly happen.
As my boots thump on every step I finally made it to the office building in the forth floor. As my palm pushed away at the glass door that had a fine print; "BAU, Behavioral Analysis Unit." Many men and women sat down, typing away on their computers. One desk sat completely empty. I walk towards it as I place my stuff down. A younge man that sat opposite of me jumped. Fiddling with his book he had in his hands.
After putting my stuff up I make my way to his office. The door read; "SSA, Aaron Hotchner". He was the leader of the team here. And I was now about to fully assign myself into working with them.
"Come in." I hear a man's voice say just before I knock. As I place my hand on the gold knob I take a deep breath in and walk inside with full confidence.
"Sorry to bother you, sir." I apologize as I see his desk was filled with random files on a case he's working on currently. "I'm Allison Campbell, the Undercover transfer?" I say as Agent Hotchner stands up and shakes my hand. His eyes stay glued on me as he stands tall. His grasp on my hand was just right to show professionalism.
"I'm sorry?" He says sweetly but is clearly confused.
"I'm going to be your new Undercover Agent?" I reply as my hands start pooling in sweat.
"I'm sorry, I think there's been a mistake." He says while going through his stuff. "I didn't file for a replacement?"
"Oh? Well my files have already been transferred here." I say but all he does is excuse himself as he walks out, leaving me alone in his office.
As I hear chatting next door I scan the room. His placement of books was to show that he's professional but by the looks of them, they were used. Leading me to find out he puts himself into his work. Most likely pushing others away, leaving him to be secluded about himself to others.
"Sorry to keep you waiting." He apologizes. "The leader of the department, SSA, Jason Gideon, has assigned you to my team." He explains.
"Yes, I talked to him in the phone." I reply.
"He says you're good. He even taught you some tricks when y'all worked together and says you could be of useful to my team?" He asks and I just nod. "Could you tell me what you can do?" He asks as he sits back at his desk, fully closing his door before doing so.
"Let's see. I did three years worth of Theater classes. And one year of Spanish. I'm also very coordinated in fist to fist combat. Then I went to college in Wisconsin, learning everything I could about Law, Criminology, Sociology, and Physiology." I explain as I finally sit down in one of two of his leather chairs.
"I have even been in cases recently like the Pentagon Killer, the Rush out Gang, and The Night, for example." I explain more. Aaron Hotchner just sits there and takes in every bit of information I could give him. Tapping his chin as he thought over my possibility to join his team here in the B.A.U.
"Your file here says you were a sex crime worker before being transferred?" Hotch says as he looks at his computer. My file being displayed on the screen.
"Yes." I answer.
"You changed units after a year. Why?" He asks.
"Just felt like there was more for me to do." I reply. My body shifts in the leather chair, making it squeak.
"I will have to see what my team thinks." He says. He sighs as he gets up from his chair. Adjusting his tie as he moves his head slightly, causing his hair that layed off his forehead to bounce. "You will come with us on our recently given case and will be determined on your official stay when we are finished." He says.
"Thank you, sir." I say as I walk out the door, closing it behind me as I do so. As I sit down I have a great view of the TV that displayed the news. A smile tugs in my lips as I look around. Everyone was calm and working hard. As I gaze around I see that I was sitting in a certain spot to see Hotch at his desk. His forehead occasionally wrinkles as he looks through a file.
As I decorate my desk professionally, with a pen cup, notebooks, my go bag under my desk, name tag on my desk, and a few other necessities for work. I login to my computer, opening all my transferred files from my old one and organizing them.
"Hey?" The younge man says. My head pops up from my computer as he talks. The younge man has greasy but curly hair that layed upon his head. He look a bit too young for this kinda job? "I'm Spencer." He says as he stretches his arm out for me to shake his hand.
"Allison Campbell." I reply as I scan his desk. Books of all kind and a small action figure of Darth Vader sat on his desk. I smile as I find out he's on my team. Along with the others whose desk's sat next to ours. To bad they aren't here yet. But, it lets me settle in and relax.
"Whose this?" A woman asks. Her black hair layed upon her forehead, framing her face that also made her brown eyes stand out. She wore a red tank top along with some black dress pants.
"Allison, this is Emily." Reid says as he introduces everyone to each other. Emily just walks off, not saying a word as she makes her way to the coffee room. Leaving me confused.
"That was her desk." Reid says as he tries to get back to work.
"What?" I ask. My eye brows fuse at his comment.
"The girl you replaced, that was her desk." He explained more fully. My mouth creating an o shape as I collect this information. I didn't know much on who I had replaced but it made me even more interested at the moment on this person's concealed identify.
